Shift Restaurant And Bar

Random stop on a birthday ride and we were glad we did. Great food, service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The beer cheese is amazing and overall the food could not be improved on in any way. Pork chops were grilled to perfection, the chicken street taco had wonderful flavors and the dry rub wings were just stellar! Definitely retiring in the future.

Thought long and hard about whether to give this place 1 or 2 stars. Would recommend 1.5 stars. Not sure what is the deal with restaurants around this place. I have been traveling as of recent, trying to get a better sense of the cuisines that exist out there. I've also lived extensively abroad and found any number of restaurants that are much better than the alternative. Shift needs to over more diverse fare and more options. I'm so sick of this type of food. its terrible. #wouldnotparticularlyrecommend

Came for Mother’s Day dinner. It was a buffet which is fine. There was no protein available but scraps. When protein was brought out eventually it was burned. The waitress didn’t refill anyones drinks and we were charged about 20 per person. We were told there would be a wait on the pasta but they forgot about it completely. The only thing successfully served was disappointment. No one checked back up on us and we were charged a 20% gratuity even though no service was provided. Seriously disappointing.

I waited 90 minutes for a to go order tonight. They said it would be 55 minutes to make two burgers because they’re swamped, okay no bigger. I arrived 50 minutes after I ordered (730), I sat and waited for another 15 minutes until they said it would be ready very soon. At 8pm they said, 5 more minutes. At 815, they brought me my food to check out and it was only 1 burger…. So another 15 minutes and they brought out the second one. When I got home and bit into the burger, I was upset to say the least. The burger was rare. I pulled it apart and the inside was still cold. So they charred the outside quickly and called it done. I’m 7 months pregnant, I cannot eat a rare burger. I order it well. The first burger was perfect and I ate that one and my husband ate McDonalds. We won’t be going back there. The sad part was the restaurant wasn’t busy, over half the tables were empty. I will post pictures of the burger on yelp and Facebook.
