The Breakfast Club

The food was great, some of the best breakfast I've had in quite a spell. Such good vegan food & so many options! I would gladly return and I would recommend this place to everyone. That said, I would definitely explain to anyone I sent that way what is involved with the space. The space is in a functioning church/ministry and it made my wife and I feel a bit awkward. The feelings were not caused by the staff or any overt messaging, the space was very deliberately inclusive and welcoming, which helped ease the awkwardness. The other reviews we read talked about the space being "quaint" or "in a cute former church space." Make no mistake, this is in a functioning campus church/ministry. I think if we had known this was in a functioning church, if this info was made more clear, we wouldn't have felt so weird. Pictured are the French toast (near) & Biscuit and Gravy (far), both vegan, both were very near perfect.

I was so excited to go to this place. I showed up at the location listed online during the hours listed and was told the restaurant had left two weeks ago without notice and no one at the ECM knew where they had gone. Considering I'd driven 40 minutes out of my way to get there, I was pretty frustrated. I get that things change, but let people know!
