This isn’t your typical gas station, It’s a home. Miller Mart is home to some of the most friendly and respectable people that work in this industry. Now I don’t know much about competitive prices, it’s how the staff treats everyone that enters the building that speaks volumes about Miller Mart. As soon as you walk in the door you are often greeted and welcomed. The staff takes the time to get to know its consumers, after going here a few times you’ll find it hard not to spend the extra time talking to the staff about how they are doing, making it very family oriented. Everyone or something must be doing something right behind the scenes at Miller Mart. There seems to be a very minimal turnover rate compared to most of the competitors. Gas stations usually have a fair turnover rate to the point it isn’t worth trying to make brief small talk. The employees must be treated well, genuinely enjoy their Job, or maybe just both. This year I casually went in for my usual cheap beverage, after checking out I was gifted holiday cookies and was thanked for my continued business. You will not receive charisma and generosity of this caliber at any other gas station in Lawrence. The staff makes you feel like you the consumer are worth taking the time to continue doing business them. Here is where Miller Mart goes above and beyond. The owners go out of there way to do as much as they can for their customers. I have witnessed one of the owners assist a woman remove a snake from under her car while pedestrians casually walked about their business heading into the store. The staff of Miller Mart show true humanity by putting others safety above their own.

Loved going here, stop here all the time. just went in today and tried to get a closer look at the vape pens, asked if i could lean over the front desk to get a closer look. The guy who is always friendly replied with saying “no you cant do that, thats how you get jumped around here.” No laughing or anything made me feel very uncomfortable. I will no longer be buying vapes or gas from here.

This is the nearest to home so good reason to go there when I first moved to the area. Now, I really enjoy seeing them when I need to just grab something quickly and dont want to go far. They work hard and its a nice clean store. They're very personable to myself and my 2 yr old. They've gone as far as giving us a Christmas gift and kind enough when Ive been $1 short to say next time you come in. Any bad reviews are on the customers end because Ive never seen them be anythimg but good to their customers.
