If i could give this 0 stars i would. Food smelled so good that we decided to try it at the festival in Lawrence. We got the burnt end opened face sandwich, the burnt ends were chopped to the point it loses the point of a burnt end. The portion was also crazy small and cold. Just all around bad experience.

Excellent BarBQ with sophisticated flavors and technique. Without a doubt the best you will find in the Lawrence area.

Mr. Bacon takes pride in his work, and it shows. Fantastic barbecue!

I have enjoyed many good steaks in my lifetime, but I am still trying to process the amazingness of the smoked ribeye! I swear, my 13 year old boy kept going in and out if consciousness, he loved it so much. Brought me right back to camping in the redwoods with my grandparents as a kid, but that’s another story... Looking forward to the other tasty meats we ordered, but I am already a huge fan! Would not hesitate one millisecond to recommend this food.

I highly recommend a visit! The brisket is amazing, the sauces are flavorful, and the sides are DIVINE (quinoa and roasted veggies??). There is much more seating located inside then I would've guessed and the owner is so friendly!

New location in N. Lawrence is super cool and funky. BBQ Meatball sandwich was fantastic. Perfect portions, prompt, friendly service. I hear there's a secret garden but it's a secret.

The Pork Sandwich I had was delicious! The service was good. The owner was very nice. I going back for the ribs soon. Their hours are limited on some days is the only drawback so far.

got way too excited for bbq in Lawrence but then got home with my take home order and my heart dropped with disappointment. My boyfriend and I just spent nearly 30 dollars on this food where the portions are ridiculously small 100 % a ripoff, the sides included a small portion of crappy Mac n cheese and a small bag of lays potato chips. This saddens me being from KC, and the smell of the place being so good when I got home and opened the box it was a COMPLETE LET DOWN. I give this place 0 stars and was very tempted to drive back and complain. On top of everything else they forgot to give us our cornbread. This meal won't even sustain me for the night I had planned ahead and now I'm going to have to spend even more money and time getting a second dinner.
