S&s Artisan Pub & Coffeehouse

Very nice place! I went to see one of my favorite local bands play there, Sissy & Earl. They have a nice intimate set up for the musicians. Lots of great beer on tap, a nice wine selection and of course coffee . Comfy couches to sit on along the standard tables. There was even a little room off to the side of the stage area where a couple were able to dance :) Really worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is really the best cafe/study place/pub in Lawrence! Everything that you could possibly ask for (specially if you're a KU student) - you WILL find in this place! Great coffee, great music, great food with healthier alternatives, WiFi, quiet study areas, merch and lot more! I'm in love with this place. I stay right behind it so for me it's a complete bliss! Very tasty food with a variety of vegan options. It's such a relief ordering off a menu that has over half the things on it being vegan. Plus the staff is very friendly and welcoming! They have tons of seating and collaborative so you can work while you enjoy a tasty meal. In my opinion their cold press is way better than Starbucks and Dunkin cold brew, so support local and get your coffee here!

I’ve been here a few times, but have only tried their coffee - specifically their latte (which is nice and strong!). They’re a bit more expensive than some of the other coffee shops around, but I love the aesthetic. It’s a great place to sit and work for a while and unlike most coffee shops there is plenty of seating and the noise level usually isn’t too high that you have trouble hearing the person you’re with. I love that they have so many seating options — stools by the window, tables & chairs, & even a few couches and comfy chairs. Overall I’ve only had good experiences while here!

This is a new sleek but comfortable coffee and beer bar. They have a limited menu of yummy healthy selections. Lots of areas to plug in one's electronics and a few cozy chair, sofas and coffee tables. It also has a private meeting room one can reserve. Nice selection of draft craft beers and very good coffee selections. On occasion they have live music on a small open stage area and keep local art on display.

How have I not reviewed this place yet? Vegan and vegetarian options that appeal to those who are not vegetarian as well. Every Saturday, there is live music, and some afternoons have wonderful local artists perform too. It is clean, open late, and the bathrooms are very well kept. Evan makes a wonderful hot chocolate. I love the open mics, and there is one specific to those who are 25 and under. This is a community space with inspiring art on the walls, and I am sad to leave it as I move to Arizona!
