6 Mile Chop House

I have eaten here twice, and the photos are from my most recent visit. Each time I've eaten here the staff has been extremely nice and the food has been amazing. I'd have to say that the customer service is the best aspect of this restaurant, and the food is an extremely close second. Without a doubt, this burger that I ordered has to have been the juiciest burger I've ever eaten in my life. There has never been a time before this burger, that I bit into a burger and had such a huge explosion of flavors, the fries were great as well. My girlfriend ordered the macaroni with chicken and ABSOLUTELY loved it. After this we ate both the tiramisu and orange and chocolate swirl cheesecake; these deserts, both perfectly lived up to the standards set by the amazing food. This tiramisu was creamy, rich and flavorful, with a texture only comparable to that of a cloud. Additionally, the cheesecake was a nice contrast, something we'd both never had before but were extremely delighted when we bit in. If you're in the Lawrence area looking to have a nice dinner, PLEASE do yourself a favor and give this place a visit.

Over priced,I know there is inflation but 12oz prime rib 38.00 it was very fatty sent it back, they made up for it,shrimp Alfredo with 4shrimp,and chicken Katherine, no baked potatoes new years eve 9pm mashed cauliflower was good,mashed sweet potatoes were too mushy,food was cold and house steak sauce was straight outta the freezer,we were not impressed at all,not even mentioning the appetizers

We came to celebrate a friend's birthday and the drinks were really good. I got the Blueberry Lemonade and the Smoked Short Rib Tacos. The tacos were delicious and the meat was cooked well and all the flavors together were so complimentary! Next time I will definitely being trying the sangria as it looked delicious! The service was slower than normal as they seemed to be fairly busy last night but the food was still fresh!

The restaurant was clean and well maintained. It was a low light setting, nice atmosphere. The service was good. Our waitor, Jason, was on time, quick when need be, otherwise he did a fantastic job. The food came on time, was not hot, but could have been warmer to taste. The quality was very good. The taste of the food was fresh and good brands. (I worked as a kitchen manager at one point in my life) I give props to the chef, from the menu items he did a great job with preparation and cooking. Time from placing the order to receiving was fast. I ordered the biscuit and gravy, it was a different taste to the gravy, I can't place what the oil used, and flavoring. Anyway, the biscuit was a little too hard. But with gravy, okay. Different biscuit and sausage gravy than I'm used to. Now the only down fall was the cost for what you get; which was small portions, it was kinda pricey. I can't say I'd be back, for breakfast, that is. Never know about lunch, or supper. We hadn't been here, and my guys friends were telling him how good it was, so we tried it out. I'd refer. Gotta check a place out, at least once. Enjoy!

I was lucky enough to have my first meal experience to be on prime rib night. My prim rib was cooked perfectly. The horseradish sauce was on point. Ordered the fried ravioli as an appetizer. It was amazing. I am for sure going to make this one of my places to stop and eat almost anytime I am in Lawrence now.
