If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place is a Trainwreck. The tables were dirty and stayed that way through most of our meal. The service was terse and rude. Our food was obviously microwaved and very bland. Save your money and enjoy the multitude of much better restaurants in Lawrence.

Not impressed. Save your money! Ordered a shrimp burrito plate. The plate had mostly black beans and rice on it. The burrito had 3 pieces of shrimp inside. Very skimpy meal for $17.49. Service was a bit shy, the waitress was pleasant but my glass went empty and she didn't ask if I wanted it topped off. She only checked on my one time. I won't be back.

We enjoy coming in here. Good selection of food and the prices are not going to set you back a bunch of bucks. You do get a lot for what you do pay. Pleasant service and we were in and out in less than an hour. Recommend coming in here at lunch as it is less busy and you will not have to wait to get seated.

We went there on a Saturday for a birthday lunch and had a great time! They had fishbowl margaritas as a drink special, they were HUGE! Definitely recommend sharing. I had the fish taco, ala carte, it was a good size flower tortilla and they didn't skimp on the fish. I'm definitely going to have that again! The flavor was amazing. Great service as well, this is definitely a go to if you are in Lawrence.

Great food, great drinks, and an even better server. My server was a strapping young man by the name of Dylan. His personable attitude, incredible banter, and kind eyes SOLD me on the Salty Iguana! Without his exceptional service I don't think my day would be as wonderful as it is now. Hats off to Dylan, this fine gentleman deserves the world, and an even higher payrate!

This is one of my favorite happy hour spots. Great specials and consistent service. Particularly Dylan who recognizes me and my friends, and anticipates our choices every time. I feel like a “regular” here and that means a lot!
