I love this local chain of restaurants! Their Kobe beef burgers and truffle fries are inebriating! Try the duck fat fries, too, along with all the dipping sauces! The service is always good and fast as well. Every time I visit Lawrence for the week, this is my go-to spot. I highly recommend adding The Burger Stand to the top of your list.

The Burger Stand is a nice burger joint. They have a good selection of fries, sauces and some good burgers. The interior is a little dark and the upstairs is cramped and has a low ceiling. It's a unique burger joint that looks like an old school pub. Good drink selection and decent food as well.

Always delicious no matter what you get. My favorite is the Kobe burger add bacon and truffle fries. Order from the window and eat outside or call it in. Inside is closed during COVID.

One of the best burger joints in Lawrence. Service is outstanding and selection are excellent. Duck fat fries are spectacular. A must stop if your in Lawrence.

The Burger Stand is phenomenal!! A patron of many years, I am constantly being wonderfully surprised on how innovative their menu is, but also just amazingly delicious food as well. Shoutout to the absolutely mind blowing jalapeño corn battered andouille sausage I had tonight! With that spicy mustard dip?!? Just Incredible.

Four years since I moved out of Lawrence and haven't seen anything like The Stand. This is so far the best burger and fries I've had in America. Everyone in the West Coast says In and Out burgers are the best, I always tell them they don't know what they're missing.

The burgers were good too.
Great and fast service.
Historically beautiful location.
No complaints. Not one.
Eat here. Just don't be in my way when I'm getting those fries. ;)
