I'm sad to say this place is now out of business. All the lights in the store was out (darkness at 3pm in the afternoon) whole weekend (i drove by twice). Pad lock on the door of the business. Call the number π and its going to their voicemail. There is not menus in the window - nor is there any "we've moved signs" so π€· unfortunately China Gourmet is no more. I loved the food here.
To everyone crying about the lady being rude and customer service have forgotten the nature of a good Chinese food spot. You go there to get some food and dip and yall need to consider the language barrier as well. Love how my generation is the soft one but yall don't even have the patience with other people.
Anyways this food is bomb the lady is funny as hell I will go back when u feel like getting Chinese food.
I had come there a little late last time and didn't realize it was their closing time. They took my order anyways had my food quick and piping hot.
They probably been working all day and it was 10 pm. leave these people alone enjoy the food and go the rest of ur day fr.
I have been buying there for at least 12 yrs, I never have a problem, the owners are very polite , prices are good not too expensive and tasty, I would recommend China Gourmet to anyone, to be honest that's the only China Restaurant I go to what I like you can stay wright there and see how they prepare their food which is a good thing, and also their area is spotlessly clean...
Oh no the best Chinese food in Ft Lauderdale is closed. Say it ainβt so!! Hope you just moved. Every time I come to town I come here and now your gone ππππ
Eggrolls are terrific. Food is seasoned well and fresh. Lo mein, chow mein, egg foo young and Kung po chicken great.
Best value for Chinese food I've found in the area. Chicken dishes are good, better quality meat, doesn't taste like the trash I usually get at other restaurants I don't have to give up an arm and leg for.
Panda who? They got nothing on China Gourmet. There food is great! Love the General Chicken and the chicken wings. Many more options, check them out.
I've eaten here a few times tried various combos it was all delicious.
Just moved to Lauderhill and was looking for a good Chinese restaurant , I seen all the good reviews for China gourmet and actually tried them. There very clean and the food was hot and delicious. Best Chinese I had thus for LOVED IT!! πππππ

Finally tried the egg foo yung. It was delicious! Now that's all I order with them fresh, good chicken wings. Love it!
This is great food and delicious I love order chicken wings and beef broccoli a lot meat inside with great price and come with the soda
Chicken curry could of had more flavor but for the lunch special it's much better than a mc Donald's
