It would be best to call ahead and order. I drive up and waited half an hour for my fajitas order. The food was good for Las Vegas restaurants. I do like that they were not stingy with the sour cream and guacamole. It was pretty pricy for what I got: 17.33 for just food no drinks or extras.

Food was pretty good, the place is charming
I realize that was a lot of older people eating there, that was a good sign that was going to be good.
I was happy that they gave me the option between rice or pozole.

Food were a huge portion. Red and green chili flavors makes it worth it. Hot meal, with just the right amount of topping. Served piping hot. Gotta have to eat the sopapillas.
Cost money to eat this good. 3 ppl costs 70.00

*Once again: True NM food and hospitality. The solo gal who was running the entire front of house HUSTLES and is SO sweet! So glad we made it (7+ hours into a road trip) to our favorite stop before they closed early for Thanksgiving. If I could give another 5 stars I would.*
On a road trip to my hometown of Albuquerque we hit the jackpot with Kocina de Raphael in Las Vegas, NM. True New Mexican food: beans, tacos, green chile, posole, and sopapillas.
Everyone in the restaurant, staff and patron alike, were warm and friendly and loved on our kids. Made me miss home in the best way possible.
They have a great kids’ menu as well. We ordered a cheeseburger and chicken nuggets with fries. All kids’ items were great!!
There was a wait, but it was totally worth it and they gave our kids crayons (fresh in the pack Crayola) and fun coloring sheets.

Paid $70 dollars for my order at drive up window. I was told 20 minutes. I moved to the side parking like i always do. After 40 minutes and countless calls to a busy signal. I went inside to get my order that was just sitting on a cart. Got my order then a girl came outside to tell me it might be wrong then told me it was right. Got in my truck drove home and order was wrong. Called back and no busy signal and was told that i got more food than i ordered so that solved the situation. Oh no it didnt. Very rude and non apologetic service. I see plenty of FB post stating that the tips they get are aweful. Well i think the service tonight was very aweful. Bye bye Kocina ill take my business elsewhere. One star is way too good for my poor service. Owners need to recheck the customer service part of the business.

Was my favorite about 20 years ago. Have since moved out of the area. Ate there today and the food is just as good! The red chili and sopapillas are fantastic! Service is notoriously slow though. But they are very friendly.

I should have taken a photo. The Stuffy with chicken smothered in green chile with a side of posole was spot-on delicious with enough heat to knock my sinuses loose halfway through my plate. I'm going to try to convince my wife to bring me back for breakfast.

Every time we come to Las Vegas we eat at Kocina de Raphael's. We are from ABQ so we know good New Mexican food. Raphael's has great food, a good selection of menu items and best of all great, friendly service. We recommend Raphael's to our friends and family. Want great food and great service get on over to Raphael's !!
