Denny's

We went after we went to Mount Charleston and was very happy with our waitress (Sonia) , and I believe the manager (ray) were both great and very helpful. Food was delicious! Would highly recommend this location as its so hard to find good customer service and great food, then again Denny's never lets me down. Thanks for making our visit a great one :)

I’ve been here many times within the past few years, but I haven’t been here at all this year because of covid. I’ve had good and not so good experiences here but today when I walk in, a lady greeted us, sat us down and then we met our server. Our server’s name was Sonja. This lady single handedly made this the best experience to Denny’s I’ve ever had. I got the chick ‘N’ shroom melt because she recommended it, and she kept asking if we needed anything or any sides and drinks. She kept coming back to the table, she kept engaging us in conversations without annoying us and without bothering us too much and on top of that, she was funny and pretty much one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Yeah I recommend her if you ever come here. She’s amazing!!

The food was disappointing. My food took about 55 minutes to get to the table. I had original French Toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon with a side of hash browns. The hash browns were sloppy and had no signature browning on top. French Toast was decent but the eggs appeared as if the were drowned in water. Bland and just sad. The only thing I received that was satisfying was the coffee. I hope the cook gets some spirit in their food.

Our first time eating in a restaurant since the pandemic hit. Denny’s did a great job with our entire visit. Once you enter the front doors there are markers on the floor reminding to keep six feet apart. We sat in a booth, every other booth was closed off, they did not seat customers next to each other. All team members wore masks, they didn’t wear gloves but I think washing their hands is appropriate, they would need to change gloves much too often. A simplified one page menu that was laminated, I’m sure for easy cleaning, was presented as well as ketchup and syrup in individual containers with lids, so they could simply throw them away instead of washing condiment bottles after each customer. Salt and pepper were in normal shakers but small and easy to clean. The customer service was great and so was the food. Great job Denny’s!

I’ve been to this Denny’s quite a few times since it’s the closest one to our place. My husband and I will go here to eat and work on our laptops for a quick cheap breakfast date. I came here a few Sundays ago, August 23rd. The place was pretty packed and I had to wait 10 minutes which was no big deal at all. My server was great. I wanted a vegetable skillet dish but they didn’t have it on the menu anymore. However, the server said it wouldn’t be an issue and had one made for me. I thought that was really great of him especially with how busy it was. The dish came out perfect! Service here is always great, but I definitely appreciated the effort made that day.
