Airport Cafe

I went here after reading some pretty good reviews of the place. I was seriously impressed. It's a small little hole in the wall building for sure, but it is athunetic ethopian food in every way. The lady making the food is very kind and was always making sure we had what we needed. The food was absolutely incredible. You would never think coming from a place called Airport Cafe... But seriously give it a try. She even substituted tofu for the meat items on the menu. Also, definitely try the homemade hot sauce, it was incredible. Do not pass this place up!!!

Airport Cafe was a wonderful surprise. I was staying next door at the Best Western McCarran Inn, and little did I know such delicious food was right in the backyard. I was starving after traveling by greyhound all day and was in a time crunch, and serendipity led me around the block to Airport Cafe. The woman who took and cooked my order was so friendly and informative. She informed me that there was going to be sizeable portions so I just ordered the Smoked Chicken and Tumeric Rice meal. It came w a side salad and bread and I also requested a side of hot sauce. The meal was huge and so well priced. The meal was delicious and so flavorful, and I had enough to eat more when I got back to my room later for seconds. The hot sauce was delicious and flavorful too. It wasn't just hot for the sake of being hot. I'm so happy to have found this delicious local eatery. Highly recommend.

Best meal I've had in a long time! This is a wonderful, family owned restaurant with food for picky little eaters and more adventurous flavor seekers. High-quality fresh ingredients and unique flavors are prepared skillfully to fit anyone tastes. If you want to go to restaurant where good people make good food, you can't go wrong with Airport Cafe.

Awesome Tibs! Don't be scared away by the outside of the building, it is hiding great Ethiopian food inside. The chef was very friendly and talented. Hopefully she can generate enough business to move to a larger space:) . Great food, only a couple of small tables inside and a few tables outside (some with shade covers). Try this place and you will be pleasantly surprised.
