Smooth Eats

WOW! LOVE IT! Lovely barista Mariana patiently answered all my questions ("What's in the Dark Horse / Mud Bowl" etc) and happily took time to create a custom bowl just for me!! We share a love of the AWESOME cookies that I have not seen since I lived in LA! This tiny juice bar serves up a whallop of healthy treats with a smile! Do yourself a favor and GET OVER HERE. Your taste buds and your body will thank you! [Nearby "Vegenation" is too crowded / too packed with hipsters / doesn't serve breakfast at this hour? Well fear not! We came in during Friday afternoon, at was nice and chill during the first hotest day. There's a patio up front, in the back. I ordered Green Goddess, and it was very thick, filling and absolutely very..very "green" (incl. spinach, kale, basil, flax, cilantro, blue majik, coconut milk, banana,mango, etc.) For all "grass" lovers, it is amazing place ($2 more then a regular, but it worth it. Plus, I was full after a half cup small size!). The other one was Berry Delight (awesome because at least you can taste berries, not bananas like in most places), it was not as thick and slightly sour. We loved it, and be back on Monday!

I've been here a few times now and have loved everything I've tried. I'm super impressed with the love that gets out into making what I'm served. The owner is usually there and is so kind. I've been on a peanut butter cake lately and I am constantly craving The Flex smoothie. It's yum! We like to sit in the courtyard where it's quiet and connected to The Donut Bar.
