We were in town visiting and wanted to find a great place that was reasonably priced, Payless Pizza was everything we were looking for and more than we expected! The owner was extremely personable and made our experience truly delightful. The food was excellent! We each tried something different and EVERYTHING was amazing. From pizza to pasta, Philly cheese steaks to homemade Caesar dressing, no one left disappointed and everyone left full to the brim, all for an excellent price. Enjoy Payless Pizza #2, you WON'T be disappointed!

The pizzas here taste better than the name of this hole-in-the-wall restaurant suggests. Not payless, not cheap, but tastes great with super crunchy crust. The owner chatted with our family and got some stories to share. He makes his own pizza dough with his secret recipe. I want to come back another time to try out his pasta dishes. There are only a couple tables in there, a bit tight and cozy. I guess he wants to keep it in 'family' style.

My boyfriend and I love this place! I picked him up for lunch one day and we put “Pizza” in our maps and went to the closest place. We haven’t gone to another pizza place since!! We have to go at least once a week and have never been disappointed. We’ve probably been here about a dozen times and lived the pizza every single time. Before I even talk about the pizza...I want to tell you about the staff. Vinny is one of the most personable, informative and the most genuinely nice person I have met in Vegas . The rest of the staff were just as nice. The pizza was awesome and all handmade with fresh ingredients. Its good to eat at a small local place that doesnt charge ridiculous prices and makes you feel good and full. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Vinny for your stories and for your services in the NY Fire Dept. I will be back next time for the award winning ribs :)

Vinny (the owner) showed great customer service from the moment we walked in the door. It's a really small shop but it has a cozy and welcoming feel to it. Vinny made us feel welcomed and gave us the history of him coming to Vegas from Brooklyn (where he owned a pizza shop) and how he perfected his crust recipe to be better than before.
We ordered the Basil Pesto and meat lovers. Took an average amount of time for them to come out to the table, and when they came we were rewarded with two incredible pies. The basil pesto was the better of the two, but the star of the show was Vinny's crust which was one of the best crusts I've ever had, easily the best New York style crust I've ever had. The texture and flavour were both perfectly balanced and I kept eating until I was on the verge of purging, something I almost never do.
Overall, Vinny made incredible pizza at an incredible price. This definitely will become a tradition each time I come out to Vegas, and as a pizza fanatic I'll surely have dreams about the flavourful basil pesto on that perfect crust.

It's always hard to find a good pizza joint but boy am I glad I stumbled across this one. This place is the best; Forget about it!!! If the food was any better I'd think my Grandma was in the kitchen. The owner is a real stand up guy who makes sure the food is perfect and the customer is happy. I always make sure to come by a few times a week now to get my fix. Ask for the House Fries!!!

My niece wanted spaghetti and pizza. So we turned to my fellow yelpers.....and as always they came through. This place has some amazing New York style pizza! Unfortunately I'm not from Vegas and can't return as often as I'd like, but I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in town.
If you get a chance to sit down and eat here instead of taking your food home or delivery , I highly recommend it. There are great family photos on the wall. The b people make you feel welcome and like you are family.
The owner Vinny is awesome...he accommodated my sister and law, whim is a vegan and made my niece one very happy little girl.
Seriously can not say enough great things about the food and the service. If I lived here is would come often! It is a hidden little gem!

It's far from the best pizza in Las Vegas. Amores Taste of Chicago, Grimaldis, Giordano's, Rosantis.... As far as pizza goes , it's ok. Typical NY style pizza. Im not a NY stlye pizza fan. Most of them taste the same. What makes it stand out to me for Payless is the 7.99 for s large cheese pizza and it has a tastey sauce. It's definitely better than Russos, Joe's of NY, Metro or the duplicate boring NY stlye pizza. That why I give it 4 stars as far as NY style pizza goes.

The pizza will definitely hit the spot however, It probably won't knock you off your feet. I would give the pizza an 8.6 out of 10! Taste it, touch it, feel it, smell it, for yourself it's good..........;)

I am not exaggerating when I say this...Best pizza I've ever had!!! Makes me wish I lived in Vegas so I can eat here on a regular basis! This will definitely be on my "To Do" list every time I visit Vegas! Coming back this summer for my honeymoon and cannot wait to bring my fiancé! Vinny was cool as hell and gave us great service! You have got to try everything on the menu. The pizza crust is truly on point. My usual is a double philly steak & cheese. Yesterday I tried the meatball sub with fresh mozzarella. It was waaaaay better than any chain/franchise. Folks NEED to support local businesses like this, the money goes back into the economy.
Top notch service every time we eat here. I suggest picking up your order if you want to avoid the wait because they have a large following of loyal customers. I won't go anywhere else for pizza, subs, or Philly steaks. No competition, hands down.

The pies are DELICIOUS!! Vinnys Special and Payless Special and a Pepperoni hands down the best pizza we have had in we can't remember when. And the garlic knots - little bites of yum!!! Thank you Vinny! Our next trip to Vegas we will be calling!
