The food is a little salty but that's my fault for not remembering to ask for no seasoning on the ribeye sandwich. The French dip sandwich is very flavorful. The crispy fries were delicious and on point.

Always great customer service here. I order take out every so often. Upon my last order I had not eaten all day and was very hungry. Got my food home and it was the worst I ever had here. The bread was hard as a rock and the fries were severely over done. I couldn't even eat it. Called and spoke to the bar manager Jazmine who apologized and asked me to bring it in. I brought the food back and Jasmine promised to fix it. She gave me a free drink while i waited and the waitress Nancy assured the cook made everything right. I was very pleased with the outcome.
2/14/2016 I stopped in with a couple of friends and had the fish strips for dinner, and they were good. Everyone said there food was good and the service was quick and friendly. The Blue Ox has a nice homey, neighbor hood atmosphere and everyone had a good time. The customers were friendly and I enjoyed drinks after dinner and did not have any complaints. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try as I plan on stopping in on occasion and try sampling other items on the menu.
Surprisingly good steak and really good reubans. Their brownie sundae is huge and delicious.

The people that work here are very friendly & try to take care of you. The food selection is good. The food is very good tasting. Very nice comfortable (no children/21 or older place to go. One of our regular spots that we look forward to going to.
Okay guys this is really sad. Another business that was unable to rebound after Covid. The Blue Ox has offered this menu for as long as I can remember. I thoroughly enjoyed every sitting here and although I am not in attendance weekly. I come enough to know I am going to miss this place. I could not help becoming sad when we were informed that the Blue Ox would be closing its doors this friday, the 25th of February. Its like erasing a part of us. Soon we may not even remember what occupied that corner. Its sad that we so easily accept this as Covid fall out.
Fun place, good food, not just bar food, drinks are priced right and its a nice little place to spend some time, the video poker machines were good, lots of play time, and the bartender rocks, great sense of humor
