Angelina's Pizzeria

I was scared to try this spot due to the recent reviews, but I am so glad I tried it anyhow! This is exactly the type of pizza I was looking for! Perfect amount of grease, toppings and thickness (or thinness in this case, as I love a floppy pizza). The employees up front look very young, but they were kind and took the order quickly and accurately. The pizza took about 15 minutes (not sure if the girl up front made it, but she did go back there for a while after taking the order). If you like New York style pizza that is on the thinner side, this is the place! It is not the most welcoming joint but as a pizza spot you're really just in and out anyhow. The items we got were both great! The garlic balls were super fluffy and flavorful! It was a lot more than we thought it would come with as well. And the 18 inch pizza was loaded with toppings, came piping hot and was everything you could ask of a pizza.

Today is Jan 27, 2022. I ordered the beef quesadilla, loaded potato sticks and chili cheese fries. It is absolutely delicious. It tastes excellent the way it always has. I got my order in exactly 52 minutes, across town. You have to be patient sometimes. This location is always overwhelmed. My driver got a cool $20 tip for being insightful for calling me for exact directions to get him to my house. (I was on the phone with him all the way).

Extra ordinary pizza and good hearted people... I recently visited this location to get 2 of their 24" pizzas. That i give to the nursing staff at the sunrise hospital where my dad is being treated for covid 19 in critical condition. They asked "How are you" so i told them the situation, they sincerely cared and said kind words. Then they said heres some sodas 4 total on the house. I was happy to see Human kindness and good hearted gestures in these uncertain times. The staff at sunrise was happy with the quality of the pizza and thanked them for the sweet gesture. Thank you to the owner and his son from the DELTORO Family.

I feel most of the negative reviews are due to delivery issues. I always pick up my order. They are friendly, quick to fix any issues. This place gets busy Friday/Saturday evenings. So expect up to an hour wait time. I would say for the price point, delicious pizza. Nothing extravagant but good pizza. Even better when you reheat the next day!
