Fanny's Bistro & Deli

A small, family run deli where virtually everything is homemade. The food was really good. We had a the corned beef with swiss sandwich. The corned beef was not homemade but from a commercial deli. While no one would mistake it for the real thing it made for a tasty sandwich. It was accompanied by homemade pasta salad, which was really good. We also had the Italian sandwich. It was reminiscent of sandwiches that you'd get at Jersey Mike's or Blimpies. It came with homemade potato salad that was delicious. We also had the sausage salad plate. The sausage was homemade and absolutely delicious. We were given a complimentary dessert. It was small pieces of their homemade brownies dusted with confectioner's sugar. Very moist and tasty. Supposedly their homemade meatballs are wonderful. We'll try them next time.

I don't know what took so long to try this place. First stopped in for lunch. The chicken salad sandwich was great and because it was my first time they gave me a bit of potato salad and pasta salad. Both delicious. Went back for the family dinner, Cajun chicken pasta, garlic bread and salad. Affordable, delicious and we get to support a local business. Win win!!
