Perk Up Coffee Shop

I travel a lot. I mean, a LOT a lot. And when I get to a new city, especially if I'm going to be there a while, it's important to establish a base, a tribe. Well, how lucky was I to find Perk Up the FIRST morning in Vegas?! Outstanding coffee, the friendliest (and SASSIEST) service west of the Mississippi, and an inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home IMMEDIATELY. It's tucked away in the South Highlands shopping center and the staff made me feel as much like a friend as any of the folks I've met and/or known here in Nevada. Between the high quality of their refreshments and the amazing reception and interaction, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better spot for your caffeine or snack hook-up. I LOVE Y'ALL, PERK UP COFFEE SHOP!

Opens early! I made a simple order: croissant sandwich with bacon and fruit on the side paired with a latte. The sandwich was savory, buttery and delicious, I found the latte to be a delicious chocolaty espresso enveloped in velvety hot milk. I loved my fruit, cool and refreshing. I highly recomend and will be coming back.

The coffee is good, but I get saving money by putting your young child on the register, but PLEASE make sure she puts in the right order. Handing me a small coffee when I asked for large (paid for on the receipt as large) isnt great service. I let it slid because shes young & cute, but have her write down what we drink instead of letting the barista guess.*** update they did fix the problem & gave me a large. And I'm not lying to anyone when I say it's good coffee & great atmosphere!

Best food I had during 4 days visit to Vegas.. We stopped for breakfast at this charming little cafe on our way back home. I had turkey-eggs-cheese croissant sandwich and hazelnut latte. Sandwich was so delicious, it was delightful experience after 3 days of eating overpriced non-tasty food on Vegas Strip. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. Must try.
