On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Had dinner with friends here. The restaurant is fairly large. Plenty of seating. It was decorated very nicely and definitely fit the theme. Its a vibe in there. There is a bar, and a good selection of cocktails. The menu has a variety of things from tacos, burritos, and plates. They do have happy hour at this location and a happy hour menu for both food and drinks. Tried a few things had a mesquite grilled carne asada steak. Came out on a sizzling plate was pretty good. Tried their border sampler which had a few of their popular appetizers on it. The gran papi plate which had a few different things on it like an empanada, a soft beef taco, a cheese quesadilla, an enchilada,and a chicken flauta. They also serve chips and salsa when you first sit down. They also have a few desserts to end your meal with we tried the border sundae brownie its super sweet so sharing one is perfect. Service was good, and food came out pretty quick. Good place to grab a bite with friends or family.

I had on the border for the 1st time during covid and I fell in love. They have the best chips and salsa, it reminds me of the old Chevy's that used to be in the sunset mall that closed down. The chips are nice and thin the salsa is fresh and perfect, their enchiladas 😋 are AMAZING, especially the cheese & ground beef ones! With the red sauce. They treat their guests well and they treat their employees well the managers come and talk to the tables and they make sure that you're having a good meal. My server Kaylyn is AMAZING 👏 😍, I can't wait to go back. But I really liked the empanadas, the tacos all of them, the enchiladas all of them, the appetizers the cheese sauce is amazing to dip your empanadas in & pretty much like the entire menu you can't go wrong.

This was my first time here. While we've passed by this place many times, this was our first time stopping in to try. Evelyn was our waitress. She did a great job taking care of us and the other surrounding tables. She was attentive to everyone making sure their drinks were replenished. We got some drinks and appetizers during Happy hour. I definitely recommend this place. Evelyn will make sure you are taken care of while you're there.
