Sushi 88

We were told we could sit where we wanted when we came in. Nice clean interior, not overly decorated or anything. Most everything was exceptionally good. Little things like the miso soup having green onions, a green salsa served with the tempura calamari, even the green muscles tasted better than they looked, and they looked great! I did get one gristly piece of garlic tuna and the baked yum yum scallop was mostly rice. But, overall, everything else was very good to excellent. Service is very fast via tablets used by the servers. The nigiri was good and fresh, but with a little bit more rice than I am accustomed to getting. Their house special 88 roll was very good! We didn't know the dynamite roll was deep fried. So, a warning ... all of the rolls with red lettering near the bottom are deep fried. And, that roll had way too much batter on it for us to eat.

Wow just wow! Never have I seen such large pieces of fish on nigiri rolls from a sushi place when ordering takeout! The thin slices of lemon in between the slices of sushi just shows the attention to detail and care they put into not only presentation but the quality! I’m so beyond impressed and it made me so happy after such a long week! I ordered the Sushi Combo A- it did not disappoint! The California rolls were even better than usual from other restaurants too! I will definitely be making this a regular spot! I forgot to take a picture because it was too good to wait 😅

We came in around 11 close to 12. When we came in we were the only ones at first so we got to sit wherever we liked. It was a bit toasty temperature wise at first but honestly forgot about it as time went on. We had the AYCE, everything was so delicious. Decently priced we had a lot of food honestly. The waitress was attentive and would make sure our drinks were full. By the time we were done it was fresh and I had a full stomach. My bf really wanted us eat oysters idk why 🤷🏻‍♀️ but they were tasty it was a first for me lol
