It was fairly crowded for a Saturday night. The wait was only 5 to 10 minutes. We were seated, and our drink orders were brought to use pretty quickly. Once our initial food order was taken, and then things slowed down drastically. We had to stay on top of the servers just to check up on our orders. The were 3 for the entire restaurant, and a multitude of bussers that were quick to clear the table of empty trays or glasses. Again, trying to remind the servers that our table still had food ordered that not been delivered. Overall, the food was great, but the table service could use improvement. I would still go back to try again hoping maybe it was simply an off night for the wait staff.
The food was really good! Service was a little odd, as it seemed as though our waiter had had a bad day before we were there and was acting strange when we were ordering.
Anyway, the food came out quickly and it was all really yummy. I would recommend this place certainly for the food.
It's a fairly typical sushi restaurant, but they do have some unique dishes. The atmosphere is nice and the staff were really friendly. It's also pretty normal pricing for all you can eat sushi. I really liked the Big B roll (it has seared beef on top of it) and the kimmy roll (which has asparagus in it) I would definitely suggest both if you go. The house saki is really really small though, so that was disappointing. Overall though it was a good experience and I'll go back if I'm in the area.
This is a nice small sushi restaurant. The service is great. The cooks are great. The food is good quality. My favorite is the fried oysters and dipping yum sauce. The Japanese lasagna was excellent! Try the AYCE lunch. Set reservation ahead for faster service.
If anyone would have ever asked me in the past, I would say that I don’t eat sushi or that I don’t like it. My friend invited me to Sushi Koma and I agreed to at least try it…oh my gosh! I loved it and now we come to this location all of the time. And now I eat sushi (but only here)! I stick to the newbie friendly sushi items: shrimp tempura roll, deep fried California roll, Big B roll are all approved.
We came around 7pm and it was full with a 30min wait on a Friday night.
Waited another 30min before we got food at the table so we were pretty lit off the hot sake 👌🏽
All of the fresh and baked rolls were goooood!
The baked muscles are amazing it’s split in a half so it’s easy to eat and Sauce that came with it was on point. 😋
Garlic Edamame served with grilled garlic and sesame seeds 😝
My husband and I went to dinner for my birthday and our anniversary. The service was phenomenal, in a casual environment. The food was excellent with many options to choose from, and the staff was on the spot to help with orders and making recommendations. We had a great evening celebrating, completed with a candle in my green tea ice cream. We highly recommend Sushi Koma and we will be regulars. See you soon
AYCE made-to-order sushi was fantastic! I highly recommend the tiger roll. Andy was my waiter. Super attentive and friendly! The entire staff was prompt and courteous and the food was fresh and just excellent. I would absolutely go back. Tables were well-spaced and masks were enforced. I felt safe there. It was a good experience.
Amazing quality, great selection, unique flavors, perfect sushi to rice ratio, great roll selection, and great service! We were very impressed with this rather small strip mall restaurant. Everything was fantastic and fresh! We'll be back!
Service was great, friendly staff and the AYCE sushi menu had a lot of options. However, for $30 USD, it would be nice to have some sashimi options as well and more dessert options (limit to one mochi per table is stingy). I felt like a lot of the squids, scallops and surf clams (all the good stuff) had to be ordered in nigiri and I was stuffed with rice at the end of my dinner. Way too much rice for a tiny girl like me.
Also, we ordered uni and the kitchen hid the ugly part of the uni with a lemon slice thinking we wouldn’t notice that it was not fresh (see my picture). Never ordering the uni again as it tasted disgusting and also smelled kind of funky. The kitchen should not be serving this if they know damn well it was not fresh. I could have gotten food poisoning. Lost one star for that. Other than that, I would recommend Sushi Koma.
Was looking for an early afternoon AYCE sushi spot. After checking out several places on line this was my choice, mostly because of the wide menu offered.
I was not disappointed.
The menu is HUGE. Tons of rolls and a wide selection of nigiri (note: the pieces of nigiri seemed pretty small, but the ratio of fish to rice was appropriate, not a tiny bit of fish and a big piece of rice like some places do. I found myself eating two pieces of salmon and tuna in one bite... delicious).
Everything we had on two visits (came back for dinner two nights later instead of going to a Vegas AYCE buffet in town) was very fresh.
Service was very good and food came quickly once you got going (took a little while on our first visit). Waters stayed full.
I would very much recommend for lunch or dinner.
