Review Pho Thanh Huong Restaurant - Las Vegas

Linda M.
We wanted to try some authentic Vietnamese fare in Las Vegas. The grilled pork vermicelli bowl was the best! The portion was large. The pork was so smokey and melts in your mouth. The nuoc mam (fish sauce) was delicious! The pho was ok. You can customize as many meat toppings as you'd like for the one price. We also shared the grilled beef Banh mi and it was so delicious! The service was prompt and friendly! They also offered Halloween candy for a sweet treat. The bathroom could use attention. I would recommend this restaurant.

I have #12 soup. Everything else great but their restroom though, somewhat has a fowl odor (plumbing issues possibility). Other than that, all 5***** from food, service and atmosphere.

Pho to me is Asian comfort food. So I'm always trying out any pho restaurant that I come across. The broth here is amazing, and they use thicker rice noodles compared to other pho restaurants. The taste is absolutely delicious. I love the Vietnamese sandwiches as well, so I had to try out the standard cold cut sandwich, and it was amazing as well. The bread was soft and crispy, and they didn't skimp out on the meat portions. Highly recommend getting the special combination pho and cold cut sandwich here.

Stopped by for lunch, seating was quick and wait staff was very friendly. Got the bun bo hue (spicy beef noodles) for myself, my wife got veggie pho which they made a veggie broth for her after she asked if they could do it (their menu said beef broth, but guess you can get special order), my son got the grilled pork and shrimp rice dish and my other son got the pho dac biet (combo pho). The Bun bo hue had a nice tasting broth but the noodles were overcooked and was too soft for me. The Veggie pho was delicious as well as the pho dac biet. My other son really enjoyed his rice dish with grilled pork and shrimp. Overall, good Vietnamese restaurant, would’ve given food a 5 star had they not overcooked the noodles in my dish.

My family and I flew out from LA but we’re originally from Philly, flew out to LA, to Vegas etc etc. My dad wanted Pho and this place was the first one we chose and boy was I glad that we went here. The service was beyond unbelievable and we went three days straight to this same place and on the second night, we went an hour before closing and it was packed upppp. Even though we went 1 hr before closing, the girls who helped us out that night was amazing and was still be able to give up the most up care and attention to my table. I can’t say enough of the hospitality, the services, the kindness from the hostess, the quality of the food and the love from the chefs and helpers making the foods, it just make us feel the love they put into their food and towards their customers. I never had Pho the way how i had it here in Vegas. It’s just the way how they take care of their customers but more importantly, the quality of the food!!! You can really taste the differences between food that was frozen or fresh and this place make everything from scratch. A special thank you to TeiJalynn who had been our main hosts for 3 days straight. You were incredible. Thank you chefs and everyone for making our stay memorable. I’m looking forward to coming back here when i visit again 💖

As a VNese I was suprise to see my vegies inside the bowl already, but others were seperated. The broth needed a little cooking or spices, but I did like the use of wider noodles. The spring rolls of grill pork was decent, but on a saltier side. Even though I had ordered pork and shrimp, I got grill pork instead, but I eat what I was given no complaints. The peanut can use more work as the flavor was not well balanced.

I ordered via text. Worker says it'll be about a 15-minute wait. When I got there the restaurant wasn't too busy. I ordered a grilled pork banh mi. The meat was tender and flavorful. I think it had too much mayo. They should have spread it. Overall, I'd return again since it's close to one of my offices.

Tofu sandwich is tasty overwhelmingly. Also recommend grilled pork and shrimp with noodle. Visiting again ordered same dishes. Prices go up a bit. Never be wrong. Sandwiches and a special dish.

The pho broth was quite nice and flavorful. Surprising to me was they add the bean sprouts and basil in it already without letting the customers do it but that wasn’t an issue considering I like them. Noodles were wider which is different than most places but no issue as well. Banh mi was tasty and fulfilling. It was alittle warm inside the restaurant and the workers were super friendly. Overall, great food and a different approach than other pho places but still satisfying. Prices are fair considering it’s Vegas.

I've been eating Pho 2-3 times in a week, so believe my review. Pho Thanh Huong's pho is the best pho I've eaten in my life, I would say 10 out of 10. It will take a little long to get pho served, but the restaurant starts boiling rice noodles right after your order is reveived, so be just patient and wait for the tasty rice noodles. Other pho restaurants usually pre cook rice noodles so they are soggy, but this place is different. Pho soup is aromatic and you can taste a hint of spice when you sip it. Salinity is perfect, and other sauces like hot, satai, fish sauces are provided on tables and also next to cash register near entrance. The restaurant put basil and bean sprout in the bowl, but it will make the pho perfect balaced dish. You must try when you visit Vegas.

Simple menu, with description of main ingredient of the dish. Good job of giving you a separate sheet with pictures of popular dishes. Not so good job when it doesn't tell you it is spicy when you expect not. Friendly staff, just let you sit in the table for longer than normal before bringing the menu.

Good pho around Vegas!! This is one of my tradition spot in Vegas where I go to eat pho every time I am in Vegas since 2018. I can feel the taste were changing a little bit time by time. But it is still good spot.

We love pho. We eat it atleast twice a week where we are from. I was glad we found this place on Google. It was only 10 minutes or so from the strip. I was a bit turned off by the scenery and skeptical about the food since I’m from out of town but they didn’t disappoint. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered shrimp pho and egg rolls. The shrimp was flavorful and delicate. The spring rolls were on point. We would definitely come back.

Probably my favorite “Pho” spots in Las Vegas. I ordered the combination beef pho and it was delicious. I think it was the broth that I loved the most. I got a side of pork chop and that was cooked perfectly too and seasoned well. Good selection of food and great customer service. I highly recommend this spot.

Pho place that opened til 1am with a late flight after 2-3 hrs delay we arrived hungry at midnight. Thank goodness this place was opened and the service was super fast! After we ordered-we got our pho in 5 mins. Pho and steamed rice rolls were good. Friendly staff and we had no issues. It was getting late and we were getting tired so we were in and out quick.

Best bahn mi anywhere in Las Vegas! I used to live not far from this place, and where I live now has a decent place, but it can't compare to the pork bahn mi on fresh crusty bread, stuffed with fresh and pickled veggies that Pho Thanh Huong serves every day! Their pho is amazing and flavorful, and I love their fried egg roll, too! Amber and Sandra were so welcoming, so I always feel like they are happy to see me again! Even if you have to go out of your way, THIS place is totally worth it! You won't be disappointed! Try the fresh limeade, too, YUM!

Broth was not hot, portion was damn small when comes to the raw steak etc. I live in Lowell Mass and it's well know for its pho. Worst place in Lowell better than this place I left very hungry and disappointed. Being a chef I try not to be picky and give places a fair chance but sometimes the truth is hard to avoid. Maybe it be better if broth was hot. My girlfriend order the pork and rice combo, that to was so small in portion that I thought it was an appetizer instead it was an entreebeing cheap on portion specially when noodle, pork and rice r cheap items. Won't be there again. SORRY GUYS JUST TELLING IT AS IS.

This place has some of the best Bahn-mi sandwiches in the Las Vegas area! I recommend you give them a try, you'll be glad you did!

You have to try the #56 sandwich. The bread is so good, the pork is sliced thin with tons of flavor. Best $3.25 sandwich in Las Vegas

This place is awesome. Chicken noodle soup and spring rolls are awesome... looks like where the locals go..

Best pho in town. We come here sometimes daily. The staff are extremely friendly and kind.

Ordered "pho dac biet" and spring rolls. Pho got no taste, not even a hint of star anise which was one of the main ingredients. It certainly isn't authentic. One of the worst "pho" I'd ever have. Spring rolls was average. Won't come back.

First time I had eaten there and their pork chops was delicious. This place is so near my apartment and I am glad I found it to be clean and priced within Senior budget.

Delish-iousness!!!! They bake their own French bread for the banh mi sandwiches! The portions are right on! Pho broth is spot on; rich in beef essence and spices just the way my mom made it growing up.

Food was great and service too would definitely eat there again

** Mom and Pop Vietnamese shop close by me. Their exterior is modest but the food is great, reasonably priced too. Go for their Banh Mi Thit Cha and a fresh-fruit smoothie for a quick, cheap meal. Or if you feel more adventurous, get their Got Tom Thit Lotus Root (Lotus Root salad). **

I was so impressed with this place, I broke my Yelp fast and wrote a review. I just had to tell everyone how delicious my meal was.

I've been to this shop on several occasions. I live close by and I pass by it all the time. I always went for their fresh spring rolls (arguably one of my favorite dishes of all time). However their spring rolls are not great, they just tided over the craving when I wanted a quick, healthy snack. Because I wasn't impressed with their spring rolls, I never ate a real meal here before today. What a mistake! Damn. I'm kicking myself. I wasted so much time not visiting this place sooner.

What got me interested was reviewers raving about their BAHN MI THIT CHA (Vietnamese pork and pate sandwich). Las Vegas Weekly wrote that it was one of the 10 best sandwiches in LV a few years ago. I have to agree. This sandwich is great. It has all the great components working together to make it so. There is the light and airy french bread, then the generous filling of pickled veggies and meat. It makes for a perfect bite. It is large in size too and for $3.25, a great deal.

I also got their GOT THIM THUT LOTUS ROOT (Lotus Root salad with shrimp and pickled vegetables). This was surprisingly light and delicious. I highly recommend it as a light lunch or an appetizer.

Their PHO DAC BIET is huge. I couldn't finish half of it, it had so much meat. The broth was light and flavorful. I got it with the Tai Rare and Nam Flank, both cuts were tender and delicious.

Their smoothies are made with real fruit and honey-marinated boba. I really like their honeydew smoothie.

Overall a great Vietnamese place and I plan on returning often (watch out Dutchess!). It's also conveniently located near UNLV. The shopping center it's in is not so great but it's ok, as long as you don't go at night.

Nice find here. Service was good. However there were only a few customers. My associate had the mixed rice dish and I had Pho Ga. The mixed rice was only good shrimp & pork over cooked. Egg rolls were perfect. The Pho Ga was excellent. The broth was very flavorful. The chicken was plentiful, well cooked and thinly sliced. Worth a try when in LAS.

Great Vietnamese Pho and Spring Rolls. Pretty close to the Strip on Tropicana. The staff was friendly and helpful with quick service.

Bahn Mi for Me!. I saw Pho Thanh Huong listed in a magazine recently as a great place to get good, cheap food. The article mentioned the bahn mi sandwiches as a great inexpensive lunch. Pho Thanh is pretty close to my work so I decided to give it a try. I had been here once before a year or two ago and had one of their combination plates which was fine but had not beckoned me back. The article did, and I decided to try one of their sandwiches.

I ordered the grilled pork bahn mi and my wife ordered the grilled chicken bahn mi. They came served on nice, crusty bread. The fillings were flavorful. The price was great (just over $3 each). While the portion was not huge it was sufficient for a lunch.

I'm glad I gave Pho Thanh Huong another try, and I will definitely be back.

I love their pho. I have ordered it eat in and carry out. I have never been disappointed. The ingredients are fresh and tasty, every time.

Tasty, but waitstaff-challenged. My bro and I rolled in and seated ourselves, since no one was around. Then like 10 minutes later someone came and asked what we wanted - no menus, no water, no silverware or napkins - nothing. Luckily we came specifically for the pho & banh mi, so we just ordered that. But, oh, was it worth the hassle... lovely crunchy / chewy baguettes with a decent amount of tasty fillings (could have used a bit more), and very fresh noodles & beef with all the herbal trimmings. Nice. Divey surroundings, lousy service, but cheap and tasty. I can handle that.

Not bad at all.. I didn't see my usual order of Pho tai bo vien, but they were more than happy to make it for me, the meatballs in it did taste a bit different than some other versions I've had, but they were still pretty good. All in all, a very satisfying experience, topped off by a UNLV student discount.

Amazing is all i have to say. Bbq pork sandwich is sooo good, it just melts in your mouth. Did i forget to say "its ony $2.75!!!!!!!"

Y-U-M-M-Y. On a budget? Go to UNLV? Craving something delicious yet simple? Do yourself a favor and go check out Pho Thanh Huong.

There are like 20 different sandwiches to choose from priced at about 2.75. They are made with fresh baked bread that you can see on the racks straight out of the oven. Shredded daikon, carrots, cilantro and peppers accompany the meat of your choice. DELISH!

Now lets touch on the Pho. The rare meat / brisket pho is the only one I have ordered at this point and the large was big enough for two. The broth was very good and there was plenty of "stuff" to put in it (an entire three compartment styrofoam container worth). Noodles, bean sprouts, fresh basil sprigs, jalapeno and obviously the meats. Really quite good.

The wife and I will be visiting many more times. Inexpensive, simple, fresh and delicious. Everything we look for.

I have to admit, I've always liked Banh Mi, but have never loved it. Banh Mi are Vietnamese style sandwiches made with French bread, and typically containing pickled carrots and daikon, cilantro, jalapenos, mayo, and some type of meat. The pickled veggies
