Nielsen's Frozen Custard

My brother told me about this place and I'm not much for desert but I love this place. I have to go to it every time I'm in town. They always have vanilla and chocolate and then a flavor of the week. Last time I was there they had peanut butter party and boy was it a party! I love peanut butter! They have pre-packed ice cream of different flavors so if the three they offer that day is not to your liking, you should be able to find something you like from past flavors of the week. Their bathrooms are clean and they keep the eating area clean. They have a bunch of fun antiquey items everywhere as decorations.

I have been watching this place on instagram for about a year or so now and I finally got the chance to come here. It is everything I could have imagined and then some. The ice cream is so silky and creamy. The smoothness is something I have not experienced before. The variety of selection makes you want to order one of everything on the menu. The staff were friendly and excited to bring us our ice cream. The whole experience was such a great experience, from the time we opened to the door to the time we closed the door behind us. This is where you want to be. You will not be disappointed!

Can’t live in a desert without this place. So many options and toppings available. Located in the strip mall with tons of parking. Service is pretty quick. Definitely gives that old malt shop vibe. A decent amount of seating inside and a couple tables outside. They have pre-packed pints ready to take home and beverages available for sale as well. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t been here and you’ll probably find yourself coming back.

This place was a little tiny as you walk in. Very oldie vintage decorated. Cute bar seating area on the right. They have menus so don’t be bummed when you first walk in and see the sign that says choose your flavor. Vanilla chocolate or flavor of the day. You need to actually pull up the menu on your phone or grab one at the front register and figure out what you want first. They don’t have menus posted up anywhere except right on the register. which they should on the walls or something. As that menu is a little over whelming. Especially when you walk up and are asked what you want when there are 10 other people behind you. You are asked if here or to go which is cool. Either way they take your name and bring your order out to you. We came here tonight for our first time. We each had a concrete. It was so smooth, thick, perfectly blended (if you want more than one flavor) but you can taste every flavor and great prices. The concretes honestly looked like the best choice. Everything else we saw people eating were boring looking. We never had custard before and we were very impressed. I had bumbleberry (pretty much black raspberry or huckleberry taste) mixed with cheesecake. The cheesecake actually had crust chunks in it. Super yum. My SO had health toffee and captain crunch. Super weird combo but it was weirdly delicious. My son had just vanilla which was super yummy by itself. Anyways. Place is definitely worth checking out and worth the wait if there is a line.

Are used to live in Vegas for eight years and love going to this location. This location has moved since I used to visit there but I actually think the spot is better. And I will tell you that the custard is just the same. The custard is awesome here! A buddy and I had just gone to in and out for dinner and I wanted to get something sweet for dessert. So we came up here. I got the raspberry concrete. I got it with cream cheesecake added to it and I don’t think I would add the cheesecake again, but I loved the raspberry part. The customer is just so thick. It’s like eating an ice cream milkshake. It’s the best.

Recently I visited Nielsen’s Frozen Custard. They have a lot of interesting combinations to choose from. Their frozen custard is too good and service is excellent. The flavours were delicious and the texture was really nice. Below are a few things I tried from their extensive menu: Oreo concrete Carmel Sundae Hot fudge chocolate sundae (highly recommended) Chocolate custard rolled in chocolate sprinkles in a cone Overall experience was amazing. Highly recommended.
