Review Mott 32 - Las Vegas

Daniel Nguyen
We had a wonderful night at Mott 32. We made a reservation for perking duck. It is the best perking duck I ever have. Skin is so crunchy. Duck meat was cooked right, tender but still moist, taste really good with brown sugar. The service was amazing, they filled water for us and never let water run out. They cleaned our table before our desert.

Nice presentation of food. But food portions are kinda small. Need reservations for specials so when we got there, the only special that didn’t require a reservation was duck fried rice. But it expected my expectations! The only downside for me is the smoky vibe, I know it’s not avoidable since it’s in a casino but I probably won’t come back again no matter how good their food taste.

It’s a celebration! We made a reservation at this restaurant. The atmosphere was great as well as the service. Food was good too. But most of all I love the cocktails. If you feel like having a Chinese food try this but don’t expect like the real Chinese food. Great experience. But I love the place . 👍🏻

I had a wonderful dining experience at this establishment. While the prices were a bit steep, the quality of the food made it worth it. The traditional soup dumplings were exceptional, bursting with delicious flavors. The Lobster dish, prepared with ginger and garlic, was a highlight as well, offering a fresh and flavorful seafood option. For those who appreciate vegetable dishes, I highly recommend the string beans with garlic and the cucumber salad with garlic. Both were incredibly tasty. The ambiance of the restaurant was very pleasant, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

Waiter was attentive , friendly, and recommended great cocktails pairing for us. Ordered a bit too much for group of 3, but food was hot, and came out a bit too fast for starters. Only nitpick I had was the appetizers came out 10’ before we had our cocktails, and the short ribs was a bit overprice. Lobster fried rice is really good, a bit more savory would be perfect. Jellyfish was a good pallet cleanser. Wished we had the Peking duck, but maybe next time. We came for our friend’s birthday, and it was definitely a great night.
Traveltime
Let's start with. I've now been to Mott 32 ten times, so it's finally time for an honest review of ONLY this time because why not. Walked in was greeted by the floor manager instead of the host. A super friendly affable individual. He got me and my wife a table quickly. The server was incredibly attententive. We just stopped by for a light meal before dinner. Ordered the hot and sour soup dumplings because what are you doing if you don't get them here. Easily top dumplings around. Ordered the wonton soup was okay but not incredible. The mushroom appetizer was delightful. Seabass salt and pepper appetizers were okay, but not for me after the third one. Pork buns were both amazing and disappointing all at once. The outside is pretty, but mostly a gimmick and tastes too sweet due to the sugar. The bun part is amazing, soft, and delicious. Lastly, the pork inside was warm and yummy. Ordered another 2 orders of the soup dumplings because they really are that good. Prior trip here, we had the Peking duck definitely recommended at least once just for the experience. Also, they prepare it fantastically. Enjoy!

We totally enjoyed Chinese fine dining with our 13 year old daughter. Decor is classic with a touch of f edginess. Our favorite was the wok-fried flat noodles with Angus beef! We would definitely go back if we’re ever in Vegas again.

We were there on 3rd September night. You cannot go wrong with this places. I had to make a reservation a week in advance but we arrived earlier then the assigned time. We were seated within 15 minutes. Starting with the food, each and every dish was delicious. In he appetizers, Duck salad was good and the vegan soup dumpling was very juicy and tasty. In the mains we got the crabmeat and Vermicelli with roe which was mouth watering. The sautéed cabbage with dried shrimp was good too. Got free sparkling wine, courtesy of The Venetian. To end with, the coconut ice cream was delicious. Coming to the service, Our server was very friendly and attentive. The ambience was top.

Ambiance had an elegant feel to it but not at the level of Wing Lei. We wanted to try two different restaurants so we did a small dinner at Wing Lei first then small dinner at Mott 32 second. Service was okay, could be improved. Place was clean and very busy. We ordered a few dishes. Unfortunately the Peking duck was sold out when I tried to reserve it. -Hot & Sour Iberico Pork Shanghainese Soup Dumplings 4/5 -Soft Quail Egg, Iberico Pork, Black Truffle Siu 5/5 -Crispy Pacific Ocean Prawn, Pumpkin, Salty Egg 5/5

We liked this restaurant very much. The food is excellent, especially the lobsters and the dumplings with Iberian pork. The atmosphere is very beautiful, and the restaurant is conveniently located at the Palazzo (Venetian). The service is polite and competent, but we did not appreciate that they brought all the dishes together (even if we asked). At the end, in fact, the lobster and the rice were cold. The wine list is very limited, and they were also out of one of the wines that we wanted to drink.

As a Cantonese from Hong Kong, I did not have high expectation on this restaurant before I came but it turned out to be a pretty decent place for Chinese cuisine. I did enjoy the 🦀 Alaskan crab with crystal noodles, vegetables, sea bass and all the desserts and cocktails! I’ll definitely come back again for Peking duck and Iberia pork bbq which has to be ordered week ago!

We loved the food here especially the quail egg siu mai. The rooms are dimly lit offering a romantic vibe, with high quality materials throughout. My only concern was the service as it was slow and not quite up to par with similar restaurants we've visited.

The best peking duck I’ve ever had so far. Most of their foods were good. My other personal favorite is the vermicelli alaskan crab with roe. Service is really depend on who is your server. Most of the time they are nice and friendly. Yet there was a time when they was very rude to us. They basically judged you on how you dress and kept telling the price of every dishes we tried to order (even tho prices were on the menu). I’d go back and make sure to order the duck when you make a reservation. If we end up getting a rude serve again I’ll def let the manager knows right away. Update as of Dec 2023 We reserved the table for our anniversary tonight. We've been calling and left voicemail for the past week. We each called a few time throughout the day and dinner time. No one ever picked up our call until just now we got text confirmation. Once confirmed, we were told they sold out of the duck. So why dont you informed us ahead of time for us to book another place. This is really not the service I expected from a fine dinning place. The hostess replied the text provided no solution beside ask "do you want to cancel your reservation?" and that "please ask for manager on stand by when you come in". Like do you really hire people with that kind of attitude to interact with your customer and ruin your customer service experience? This is so disappointing especially it happened twice already. I've been coming here as a visitor and now that I moved to Vegas I'm still going but manager in charge need to retrain their staff to provide good service.

My family had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed our first meal at Mott32 when we were recently in Las Vegas. Everything for us was great from atmosphere to food. Service was also top notch. We will go back again and highly recommend.

Exquisite Asian flare Cuisine! The crispy skin pork buns are delectable- light and fragrant and delicious! The sea bass is a must and we get the noodles gluten free style and it is silky and delicate in flavor- which perfectly compliments the quality spices and ingredients in the entire menu! We have yet to enjoy the duck- but you must order that in advance- call restaurant for deets!

Very nice Asian fusion / Chinese restaurant, serving some very high end and authentic dishes, birds nest soup, Abalone, dried seafood etc. The lobster fried with chilies and Fried sea bass appetizer were amazing. The spicy dumplings, fried rice, wagyu beef stir fry and pork stir fry were good. Our server was very attentive and overall service was great. The front hostess was rude and indifferent, not a pleasant way to start a 300$ per person meal. The ambiance is good here, the prices are very steep but the overall experience was enjoyable. The drinks are great 👍🏽

Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Ambience: 3/5 Not the best Chinese food/seafood I’ve had but it’s decent enough to not disappoint anyone. Probably a safe choice for those who have never tried Chinese food before. Their spicy dishes are authentic which I love. It’s traditional Chinese chilli, not the white Chinese food kinda hot. So it really satisfies the cravings. They were out of Peking duck so we decided not to try any duck dishes. Xiaolongbao was surprisingly good here. We didn’t really like how the casino background music was overlapping with the restaurant music because we were sitting in the bar area. Really chaotic. What impressed us the most this time was our server Mae. She really went out of her way to regularly check on us and answer our friends questions. She even wrote down a list of her favorite restaurants in Vegas for us to try. I’ve been to some of them so I know it’s definitely a trustworthy list. Overall I’d probably come back again if reservation is easy here.
