I've been to Los Cucos in Houston and San Antonio, and you just can't beat them. The best Mexican food period. The service is good, the atmosphere (live music) makes it that much better and everyone is friendly.
Moving from Texas, I thought my days of Tex-Mex were done, but Luckily for me, this is my oasis in the Nevada desert.

Fun Spanish feel restaurant. Great prices on happy hour. Margarita special was amazing.

Great selections and great tasting!
Service is amazing. Waiters are attentive and give good recommendations.
The Patron Paloma is a must try here, and I ordered the Delicioso in the grilled item menu, and it's the bomb. The pork is so tender and sp flavorful. it's made very well. They also offer kids' menu and are willing to substitute for what your kids desire.

Excellent service. Isabella was my host - she patiently explained my options and was flexible with my asks.
I ordered the deliciosos Fajita with extra side of jalapeño chorizo
Food quality: outstanding. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Especially for a to go meal. Nothing was dry.
It came with many different types of meats :
White fish, jalapeño chorizo, skirt steak (the lime marinate was delightful), chicken breast (a tad overcooked, but that’s the nature of chicken breast), giant shrimp (perfect), Carnitas, and probably a couple others I did not remember.
I would definitely recommend. I can see myself making this my Friday protein run.
Total cost : $45. Very reasonable for the enormous amount of meat. Very good value and quality.

I would say it's one of the best Mexican restaurants in Vegas. We put it in our top 2. If you get a chance to try it I promise you won't be disappointed.

Food was good but kind of expensive. Obviously known for their fajitas because they use it in everything. Good, strong margarita, but even on happy hour, a little pricey.
Service was great. Very friendly and attentive.

My husband and I like to go eat at random restaurants every Monday and this was conveniently located near our bank. We decided to try them out and we have been back again since our first time. Their food is DELICIOUS! You will not be disappointed. I’ve been to a couple of Mexican restaurants before but this one has to be the best I’ve ever been to so far. Whatever Mexican food you are craving, it is here. Their service was wonderful and the place is perfect for families or dates. It is appropriately themed and beautiful inside.
I love their Delicioso platter which comes out sizzlin’ and smelling so delicious just like its name! This has a little bit of everything if you want to enjoy the different types of proteins. There are two types of servings; for one or for two people. I got for one and it is a big serving and can be for two people. I also had their strawberry mojito and it was delicious! They do have a menu for kids as well and our kids got a little platter with rice, friends and cheese quesadillas. They loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion!

Finally remembered to try Los Cucos in Vegas. I lived in The Woodlands (near Houston TX) for many years and always enjoyed Los Cucos. After eating at the new Los Cucos at Arroyo Crossing while visiting my daughter in Las Vegas, I truly believe it is even better than when I was in Texas; if that could be possible! The food is SO fresh and they just have a special way of providing a showpiece of a plate when it arrives. The food itself is mouth-watering and so ample. There was even a Vegan options for my daughter; a spinach enchilada. And the service was spectacular! It's not cheap, but it is worth every bite!
Now Los Cucos, when are you going to put one in the Sparks/Reno area of Northern Nevada??? We have absolutely nothing that compares. Please open a restaurant in Sparks! You will kill all of the competition here without a doubt!!!
UPDATE November 23, 2022
This is becoming a must for us when we visit Las Vegas now. I’ve added more pictures. The service, food, and ambiance were once again highly anticipated and Los Cucos delivered as usual. We shall return!
