Food was good, but selection was rather limited for the price paid ($44/pp with automatic 18% gratuity added). Salad bar with seven entree selections + rice. We were unaware that you went to the front to pay so we sat at our table for a while until the server came back. The garlic naan was delicious and the food was overall good. They could have kicked the spice up by one level in my opinion, but I know they have to appeal to a wide audience.

We loved this out of the way little gem in the RIO Resort. We must have been early at 7pm ish as we pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves for the 1st half hour, then more groups started coming in. Service was excellent and respectful. Buffet was clean, easy to access, but not as many options as we have experienced at other Indian buffets. No Butter Chicken was disappointing, but the other offerings were very tasty! Staff was super friendly and efficient.

My wife and I went a few nights ago for the annual Star Trek convention, and we had a great experience. The woman at the front was great and informed us that there was a long wait. The service was good considering how busy it was. Although there were only a couple of options on the buffet, the flavor and quality of the food made up for it. The only reason I gave this restaurant 4 stars is because of the forced gratuity, but otherwise we had a great experience and would highly recommend it.

Nice enough place, food was pretty good. Would love to see a little more variety. I have been to several other Indian buffets that had way more options for half the price. Dinner price wed night $35+tip. 1 person.

Food: 5 There is a limited selection for the dinner buffet (butter chicken, curry goat, curry cauliflower+potatoes, curry dall, sweet curry paneer, eggplant curry). It all tasted great except for the seemingly bland tandoori chicken. It's pricy at $35 a person plus 20% forced gratuity (do people ever challenge these?) so it's more like $42 a person if not ordering drinks. Regular or garlic naan unlimited (we choose the garlic naan each time, served quickly) too. There's a salad bar and small dessert selection of round donuts and rice pudding too. My favorites were the butter chicken, curry goat, and the curry paneer (with the cheese cubes). It wasn't on the written drink menu with all the alcohol but they sell creamy mango shakes(Mango Lassi) at $6. Service: 3 I was somewhat surprised at the bill because the greeter seemed to say the meal was $25 per person, but it ended up being $35 per person. Maybe it's a trick to get people in, or the receptionist had an extremely strong Indian accent. They didn't correct me when I initially exclaimed that $25 per person sounded like a great price, so I think they were at fault though it's possible I was misheard. I probably still would have eaten there knowing the right price but it wasn't a good surprise afterwards. The price wasn't on display anywhere making it very annoying. The 20% gratuity was pretty wild too, but they at least advised us not to pay tips separately. Atmosphere: 4 The place was quiet and low key but maybe because it was a Sunday night without much going on. The tablecloths were too long in the booth seats and was easy to pull on them unintentionally while sitting down or getting up from the booth. The server/attendant was courteous.

Went for the lunch buffet soon after they opened at 11:30. Three of the dishes were chicken based (curry, tikka masala and tandoori), the rest were vegetarian. Everything tasted great, plenty of flavor, medium spicy and the chicken was not overcooked (which is my main pet peeve with Indian buffets). $31 with tax and tip

: After visiting Royal India Buffet I have to say, it was an absolutely incredible dining experience. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had – each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. But what really made the experience special was the service. Our server was attentive, and knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic time. From start to finish, this was a memorable and enjoyable evening. I highly recommend this RIO to anyone looking for an amazing meal and a top-notch dining experience.

The lunch buffet consisted of around 10 items. Most were vegetarian. That day they had 2 chicken items. The items I tried were pretty good, especially the chicken. The decor was pretty fancy, a high end restaurant, but the service was lacking. There was only one person doing everything and she would disappear for long periods of time. Selection may be limited and service questionable but 4 stars for the delicious food.
