I have been to this restaurant 2 times, and both times have been wonderful experiences. The restaurant itself is elegant and beautifully decorated. The waiters are very attentive and welcoming. I ordered the 8oz rib eye cap, King Crab oscar, and the lobster fried rice. Every single dish was exquisite and full of flavor... i would definitely eat here again..

The signature Steak House at The Palms Hotel & Casino won’t rank among the top echelon of restaurants in the area but is solid enough. The homemade Pretzel bread and potato chips were promising starts and the shrimp cocktail with sambal sauce was on point. Things went slightly flat from there though as the dry-aged New York steak was nothing special and the novel Brie fondue hash brown accompaniment was not as good as the counterpart from my local breakfast diner. The homemade sorbet dessert featured a large portion of 3 scoops of different flavors but all were too sweet and too tart at the same time (how is that possible?) Only the coconut-lime flavor was worth finishing. Service was polite enough but unattentive and without sincerity. For the price, one can do better without venturing too far.

Excellent food and the service!!! Great from the start with professional sweet hosts. The bartender made an excellent Martini and wine selection was spot on. Steak was extraordinary. Ace my server couldn’t have been more knowledgeable and attentive. Managers stopped by to see how I was enjoying everything. Felt relaxed but elegant. Looking forward to my next Vegas visit at The Palms and Scotch 80 Prime.

Really nice gourmet room at the Palms Hotel Casino. The service, cocktails and food were impeccably fantastic! The presentation was beautiful with flowers and greens. We had Crab bisque ( YUM!!), Caprese salad, halibut and salmon. The prices are not as steep as other gourmet rooms in Vegas but it is definitely TOP NOTCH!!

Excellent all around! I had never heard of this place, but I will make it part of my regular location. Classy, spacious place with a nice bar. The service was impeccable, the wait staff wore tuxedo coats, and they had a talented piano player playing lively music. Ordered the shrimp cocktail that was presented well, chilled, and very tasty. The cocktail sauce was good. The chef sent out some complimentary sushi/caviar type snack that mixed well. It had a slight fishy taste but was good even though it was something I would not usually order. I ordered the bone in New York strip. It was one of the best steaks I have ever had in Vegas. Top quality cut of meat, seasoned and cooked perfectly. The craft cocktails were thoughtful, unique, and well balanced. The service was so good it was like we had our own exclusive waiter. I will definitely go back and add this to my favorites. My only critique is that they could have added one more shrimp to the cocktail for the price.

Wow! Scotch 80 Prime was fantastic. From the staff to the food, couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. Joseph and his support staff were phenomenal. As with other high-end restaurants, our meal was never rushed over the 90-minutes we were there. Bone-in Filet was amazing, Hash Browns were outstanding with the fondue Brie, and the cheesecake dessert was perfect - not too sweet, not too rich. Can’t wait to come back.

Checked out this place last Saturday night while staying at The Palms, and my buddy and I were so happy we did. We had a 5:30pm reservation, we were seated within 10 minutes. Our waiter, Luis, came right away and took our drink order. We tried the Mai Tais that were amazing. He then went over the menu and their specials. We went with their filet mignon with asparagus. The food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Finished it off with a special cheesecake. I gotta say Luis and all the staff provided superb service. The piano player made it even better. The food was delicious, I highly recommend you try this place.

We have frequented the Palm since it’s reopening and I have been so pleased with the perks and amenities. We dined at Scotch 80 and everything was top notch, from the service to the ambiance to the food. We had the crab cake appetizer that was fresh and a crunchy top layer. The lamb chops and king crab were cooked to perfection. We opted out of dessert as we were full. This definitely is a place to check out for an upscale dining experience.

WOW…this place is amazing! Not only the selection of drinks, but the food is amazing! My husband and I have tried many steakhouses and this is one of the best. Absolutely everything was great including the service. We will be back with friends!

Wow! What a beautiful experience I had at Scotch 80 Prime. loved the live piano music and the atmosphere. The staff was lovely and made you feel like royalty. When dinner was planned, I was a little concerned that I wouldn’t have many options to chose from. It is a steak house and I have been on a plant based diet for 7 years, but I was wrong! While I did have a salad. It was delicious and fuuuull of flavor. I was also able to enjoy an entire spread with with my friends! I had many appetizers, the main course and a variety of fresh sorbets for desert. SO many tasty flavors. If you’re a vegan or vegetarian and looking for a nice place to have a romantic dinner I highly recommend Scotch 80 inside the Palms hotel and Casino. Make a reservation and make sure you give them a heads up about your dietary restricts. Chef Lopez would be happy to accommodate!!

Bougie restaurant, but good food. The waiter wasn't very knowledgeable about the menu, which was a bit disappointing (we ordered a side that we didn't know already came with our meals and the waiter did not say anything about it), but the food was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. We went for a birthday and the birthday girl was happy, so mission accomplished.

We really enjoyed our time here. The atmosphere, food, and service was top notch. The cocktails were strong and tasty without being overpowering. With a bunch of great places to eat in Vegas, you won't go wrong if you decide to go here. Highly recommend!

Very classy and sophisticated dining experience. The ambiance is chic and stylish and food is superior. Service is top notch and they even gave me a birth card with the staffs hand written bday wishes. There’s also an amazing vegan and vegetarian menu that’s delicious. They really made my bday special.

Amazing quality food - so many great dishes. Some of the highlights for me were the cheesecake, the burrata dish, oysters and the fondue. My friends really enjoyed the steak as well. Great selection of wine.

The service was ok. The Bus who delivered the food was more knowledgeable than our server when we asked questions about the dishes.

The Rib Cap was ok. I don't think it was seasoned well. My BF enjoyed his fish (I did too), the Creamed Corn was also ok. The highlight was the Brie Fondue. Omg!!! I'll return just for that dish itself. The Cream Brulee was also ok. I think the sugar was too much. Maybe thinner would be better in my opinion.
They also gave bread and potato chips and I loved the chips. Overall, a nice place to dine. As a local. I dine out every day and I would recommend Scotch 80.

The dinner and drinks was AMAZING!!! The Lobster Bisque was delicious. The service was less than I expected for such a pricey restaurant. Our host seemed to be more focused on his other tables than on us. We didn’t see him much while dining. I was very surprised, I assumed the service would’ve been impeccable based on the reviews. Nevertheless, the servers were very nice and made the experience a tad bit better!! I probably should have done more research before selecting this spot. Overall the experience was just okay not exceptional as we thought it would be.....
