Amazing place. The pork is slightly better than the chicken, but both are amazing. A regular size is huge, a small would have been better. The spice levels are no joke, even a 3 is Spicy.

Zen Curry House is a culinary paradise that immerses you in a world of flavors and spices, leaving you in awe of the art of Japanese curry. From the moment you step into this gastronomic haven, the tantalizing aroma of herbs and flavors envelops you, beckoning you to embark on a journey of the senses. As you peruse the menu, your eyes are met with many customizable options, each promising to take you on a culinary adventure like no other. Opting for the level 7 spicy pork katsu with a fried egg, you brace yourself for a flavor explosion that will leave an indelible mark on your palate. The regular-sized canvas of white rice, adorned with a perfectly crisped pork katsu that's generously coated in a fiery curry, sets the stage for what's to come. As you take your first bite, the symphony of spices harmonizes seamlessly, creating a complex flavor profile that unfolds in layers of intensity and depth. The inferno of flavors dances on the precipice between pleasure and intensity, delivering a fiery punch that tantalizes your taste buds and ignites a fiery passion for unparalleled curry indulgence. Adding a fried egg elevates the curry experience, creating a luscious liaison of creaminess and heat that transforms each mouthful into a gastronomic adventure. The interplay of textures, from the crispy katsu to the silken egg, is a celebration of texture and spice that leaves you wanting more. Completing the ensemble is the takoyaki, a delightful addition that contrasts the intense curry experience with a playful contrast. The octopus-filled spheres, bathed in savory sauce and adorned with bonito flakes, add a textural diversity that complements the curry extravaganza, taking the experience to new heights. As you savor every bite, the flavors linger, a testament to the meticulous attention to flavor, texture, and heat that Zen Curry House is renowned for. From the first aromatic encounter to the last lingering warmth, every second of this curry affair is a crescendo of spice that beckons with every spoonful. In conclusion, Zen Curry House is a paragon of curry excellence, elevating the art of spice to new heights. With its mastery of inferno flavors, this establishment has set a new standard for Japanese curry, creating an experience that transcends the ordinary. If you're a spice enthusiast or a curry aficionado, Zen Curry House is a must-visit destination you will always remember.

The chicken katsu curry was delicious. I ordered the large, which was too much for me. It added more rice and curry sauce. My curry was at level 6, which was borderline to spicy for me, but I still enjoyed it. The katsudon was even better. Very tender. The appetizers were just ok.

Curry Zen always satisfies my Japanese Curry cravings. I've been coming here since they first opened and their food quality and service are consistently great. I always get Pork Katsu Curry spicy level 2 for myself and an order of Takoyaki to share. If I'm really hungry I add a Curry Pan, but they can run out of these if you come too late. They're awesome, highly recommend!

Loved getting to choose the level of spice with my curry. It all tasted so great. The curry pan was so good I had to get a second to go. I had it on the road the next day and was still so good! Wish I lived in Vegas just so I could go more!

I had a great and filling meal at this establishment. It really felt like a local mom and pop spot. Friendly and attentive service. The interior is a bit outdated, but clean overall. For appetizers, we got the deep fried siu mai, takoyaki and chicken kaarage. I would pass on everything other than the takoyaki which came out hot and flavorful. I got the small curry with chicken tenders and spinach at level 5. I found this spiciness level to be the perfect spot for me as someone that likes closer spice right before medium. If that makes sense. My brother, who loves spice, was a chicken and got level 7 and it was not spicy enough for him. About the portion sizes (the amount rice and curry you get): I found that the small is more than enough. I still had a small portion of rice leftover but my siblings that got regular left even more their rice. This is especially so if you decide to get more than one topping. The curry flavor was on point. The chicken tenders were moist and the spinach added great texture to the curry. I found the tenders to be more enjoyable to eat than the regular chicken katsu, which I assume is just chicken breast. My sister didn’t have any complaints though so if you’re on a budget, it probably won’t make a difference. The social media manager of this place also does a good job of showing what’s happening in the kitchen. It really sold me on trying to make sure to visit.

Food tasted good and was overall amazing. One of the best Japanese curries I’ve had. Service was good and quick, nice indoor dining. Good AC as well so won’t be hot inside while you eat. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good curry!
