Kona Grill

Kona Grill - A great place that is consistent with their food, prices, and service no matter what location in the country you visit. We very much enjoy Kona Grill when we travel to different places since our first visit to the Tampa, FL location. Our highlight is their happy hour which lasts for the entire afternoon featuring discounted sushi rolls. The sushi here is very good and we have never had a bad roll. The rolls are very large, usually about 8-10 pieces and stuffed very full - all of this for 5-8 dollars during happy hour, which is a steal on the Las Vegas strip. My personal favorites are the Bama and Yamada rolls. Fish is very fresh and flavorful and presented very beautifully. I cannot speak for their other menu items since I have not tried anything other than sushi. I think I would have given a 5 star review for this location had it not been for the snag we got caught up in when trying to redeem my wife's birthday coupon she received via email. Our waitress was not able to redeem it and had tried a couple times, but the code we had been provided was not working. Obviously, this was not the waitresses' fault and I don't blame her nor was I upset with her. But it required multiple attempts before a manager was involved in which he simply viewed the email, entered his codes, and the discount was applied. This process took close to 15 minutes of unnecessary time spent before our request was simply fulfilled by a manager. Again, not at all upset with anyone, but I do feel it could have been handled a little better just as some constructive feedback. We will still be returning to Kona Grill at any of their locations in the future.

Excellent sushi! Beautiful decor inside and great service!! Patio looked beautiful as well. We stayed at the Mirage and walked over with our boys this evening. The best kids menu of any restaurant we visited during our trip!! Lots of options in a fun bento box. Kids loved their meals and the cute panda carved orange. Great attention to detail!! The sushi we ordered was simply delicious and large portions. Picasso roll and spicy crunch roll were both excellent. There was a slight mix up in my order and our waitress resolved immediately. She was so nice and attentive! Great food and service!

Food was incredible! Only giving 4 stars because the service wasn't very good. I only got 1 refill on my soda during an hour visit, and waitress was nowhere to be found. We went during the middle of the day and it was really slow so server should have been overly attentive. Sorry, I wish I did, but she was barely around.

Our waitress was great the food was good. I had the coconut shrimp hot rolls they were okay. My friends had the lettuce wraps and edamame which was really good. We shared a piece of carrot cake because it was the size of my head. I wasn't going to try because I'm not a huge fan. So glad I did that was the most amazing carrot cake I have ever had! Prices were reasonable. I paid $20 for my meal and drink. I would go back.

I came upon this restaurant by accident, and I am so glad I did! Every item on the menu looks delicious and is bursting with flavors. The Kona Chopped Salad is one of my favorites. The dessert menu is small, but there is only one dessert that you need to order. The Butter Cake is one of the most delicious desserts I have ever eaten.
