Review Tom's Watch Bar - Las Vegas

Oh my goodness the Prime Rib Dip sandwich is incredible. Totally worth going just for that. The other dishes we had weren't particularly outstanding, but were still good enough (bacon avocado burger and the spinach artichoke dip). Our server, Eric, was exceptional. He made it a very fun and engaging experience with great suggestions and a welcoming personable attitude. Thanks Eric!

Great all around, food was yummy! Service was fantastic! Atmosphere was great! TVs everywhere! Football season started so it was even more exciting to see people cheering for their teams. We ate here for breakfast and it was delicious! Definitely returning next time!

If you're looking for great food, friendly service and a price to fit your budget look no further. Our waiter Richard was awesome. He was attentive without being overbearing. The food was fantastic and the portions were large. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Vegas.

This place is inside New York New York Hotel and Casino. We only had breakfast, which is served 8am-11am. The French Toast was absolutely amazing. Pancakes were outstanding. Sausage was great. Ended up going for breakfast every day but one. Shared the French Toast- highly recommend. All the staff was friendly and very professional. Great place to watch tv as they have several. Would highly recommend.

This place has a grade A sports bar vibe. There are TVs everywhere, showing every game/sport imaginable (and I mean EVERY). There's tons of bar and table seating. I explored the breakfast menu, which is pretty simple but has the essentials and a couple of more interesting dishes. The beach bum omelette was very solid; crema was tasty; no complaints. Our server was cool, and service was really fast, despite a decent crowd.

Chicken wings were pretty good. Not a crispy style but good enough. It’s a good place to watch sports games while you are in Casino. Our server was very great.

This place is awesome!! Have so many tvs so you can watch all sports. They were very accommodating putting on our hockey game for us. And service was excellent. Great sports bar. Highly recommend if you wanna watch a sporting event. Drinks were great, we didn't get any food. Prices were good.
Tammy
Richard is a phenomenal person and has taken great care of us! The food is awesome and the portions will fill you up and then some.

We went to Tom’s Watch Bar this morning for breakfast and the food and service was amazing! I would highly recommend the salted caramel French toast. Nhi was our server and she was fantastic!

Great food, great atmosphere and our server, Maggie was amazing! She was very friendly, attentive and came regularly to check on us!! Definitely a cool place to watch the games and grab some really good food! The beef short rib tacos were amazing! There is also indoor/outdoor seating available. Update: we went a second 2nd time in less than a week and our server Eddie was amazing and very accommodating after a meal mix up he brought us another one at no charge and gave us amazing service! Love this place for amazing food and to watch the games!

40oz Mugs...no other way to go! Really miss the glass ones with logo on them from before the pandemic. Not use why this is my typical experience, but the food never arrives very hot. The burger was pretty good, but bun didn't hold up well. Tatar tots not over-cooked, but not much flavor compared to other places I've had them. Service wasn't that great especially considering it wasn't that busy.

The food was good, our service from Valerie was amazing, though!! She was so tentative and helpful and kind. We truly had a great time trying this place and will be back!

My expectations weren't high since most hotel restaurants are pretty mid. But this place was awesome! The service was fast, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. I got the pickle brined chicken with garlic French fries. The portion was huge! And the garlic fries were absolutely delicious. Chicken tenders were very juicy. The ranch was also delicious. The alcoholic are about $15, but they are pretty strong. Will be my go-to spot if I stay at New York New York again.

Our server, Emanuel, was truly AMAZING. Funny, attentive, and a sexy bald head!!! What more could you ask for. Definitely recommend the queso and the chicken/cornbread pancakes. We will be back!!

This was an amazing expirence. Out waiter Eric was great. Everything he recommended Wes spot on. Pro tip if it says on the menu that it's something they do well order that.

Stopped in late on a Monday night for a little something to eat. Decided to split some dishes. Seating was friendly and quick. “Paige” was our server. She was friendly, attentive, and just chatty enough. We ordered Fried Calimari, Prime Rib Dip, and Amazing Side Salads. Calamari came up pretty quick. To be honest, it wasn’t really great. Just okay. While it was crispy, it was also a bit on the bland side and chewy. Sliced pepperocini that came with it helped add some bold flavor. The Prime Rib Dip was excellent! Stacked high, perfectly cooked, with a side of horseradish sauce and a side of brown gravy. It was tender, savory and delicious. The Amazing Side Salad was exactly that! Fresh greens, flavorful Compari tomatoes, and tangy, creamy goat cheese. Tossed with just enough light and bright vinaigrette. Excellent and AMAZING! We have been here previously and Tom’s is always a great choice.

Jay at the bar was great. He asked my name and remembered it the entire time. Super sociable. I'd come back just to see him.

Tasty food, great service, and nice atmosphere! Highly recommend! They also have a vegan option(veggie burger) and it tastes really good!

It wasn't very busy but our waiter was very slow, made a couple of drink errors and had to keep coming back to us to comfirm our order. We were a table of 8 half the group enjoyed there food and the other half did not. Overall our group was not impressed by this restaurant.

Happy we stumbled across this place before our flight out. Wasn't really busy around our Monday brunch hour visit (12:15pm). Service was prompt and charismatic. Jerome was great! Friendly, funny and attentive.

The ambience is modern, clean, comfortable and visually pleasing. The food tasted great. We had the Cuban sandwich along with Lobster and Shrimp Taco entrees. Both were very tasty and the added spice kick in the tacos was a pleasure.

Any good taco falls apart a bit as you eat it so that was expected. With that said though, the plate could have been a bit bigger to catch the mess. Also, I never got a spoon with the coffee I ordered and had to result to using my knife to stir my coffee. Should add spoons to the utensil wrap.

All in all, Tom's Urban is worth a visit. The food and atmosphere is good and I'm sure it's worth a visit at night with the outdoor patio. The prices are reasonable, for the Vegas strip. Will revisit in the future.

Sat outside on the patio on a beautiful day in December! Wonderful breakfast and amazing service! Nate is awesome and we had the best experience there!

Wow!!! The prime rib beef dip is outstanding. Really filling. Food fantastic, service, meh. Ordered potstickers but meals came first so never tried them.

This place, no words! 😍 You're missing out. Hubby had the prime rib philly cheese steak w/garlic fries and I had (twice in the same day) pork belly bahn mi tacos 😙💍❤ legit place and open late. Must visit each time and will crave this for days. 👍👍

During my visit to Vegas in December, I stopped by Tom‘s Urban, which is located inside the New York, New York Hotel & Casino on the Vegas Strip. It’s a casual American restaurant that literally has something for everyone. The menu is pretty extensive, which is a good thing, especially for families and larger parties.
Chris
Service was great but the food not so much. The steak nachos had melted American cheese sauce which is gross and the Mahi Mahi tacos were dry and overcooked.
Lisa
The service was a little slow, but they were busy. Hostess was unfriendly and unhelpful. Wait staff was much better. My eggs Benedict left much to desire. My eggs were more soft boiled, rather than poached. The side salad was the best part of my meal. A little disappointing, but not bad.

We went to this eatery pretty late. We were seated directly and had good service. We ordered the sweet potato strings and the garlic parmesan strings along with the street tacos. I'm not quite sure why but the strings came out and then they brought one of the four street tacos out then about five minutes later the other three street tacos. The tacos had a kick to them and tasted very good. If you don't like spicy food, skip them because they have some heat to them. The next morning that garlic from the fries stuck pretty hard even after a full night of drinking.

Got tired walking the Strip, so we dropped into Tom's Urban for coffees. The service was friendly and prompt. Got several refills.

Tom's is pleasant, so we looked at the menu in greater detail. It looked good and the place had a reasonable rating so we stayed around for dinner. We weren't disappointed. Had a tasty Potsticker Salad. The waiter asked if I wanted the dressing on the side as it has some zip to it. I like spicy food so I opted for the salad complete with dressing. Really good. It is a tad spicy but I found it wonderful.

Prices are reasonable and the staff is very pleasant. I'll be back.

Amazing food and drinks! Definitely recommend the fries with the moroccan ketchup and full bloom pizza! The sin city cocktail is awesome!!!

Good food. Nice menu with lots to choose from. Very nice service, pretty quick and friendly. The seating was kind of weird for our big party but overall it didn't take away from the experience. I would go again.

We had gone for a show in the hotel New York New York on the strip. After the show was over,we were looking for a place for dinner and that's how we stumbled upon Tom's Urban.
Tom's Urban has a very New York vibe to it.I loved the seating, lighting and decor of the place. The music is awesome too.The service and staff is amazing too.I also felt the pricing at Tom's Urban was quite reasonable for a restaurant/bar located on the Las Vegas Strip.
My hubby had beer and I had red wine for our drinks. They have a good beverage menu and very impressive variety of beer.We had Spicy edamame beans, garlic fries and veggie sandwich. It was good. The quantity was big.Definitely,a place to go if you are at New York New York.

Large portions, but inconsistent quality. My eggs were underdone while my wife's were overlooked. Service is slow to nonexistent. No one ever came and offered to refill our drinks until they brought our check.

We stopped here for a drink and an appy before our show. We had nachos and they were delicious!!! The service was so great that we went back after the show :)

Hot or miss take 2. Forgot to add that after 2 requests we just stole silverware from a nearby table.

-----29 May, 2015-----

Hot and miss. Mariah is a great server. Took the mental giants 5 minutes to figure out how to seat 5. Their solution was to throw an extra chair on a small square table when several larger round tables, one with 5 chairs remain empty. Burgers were good but it took 2 requests to get a missing set of sweet potato fries, which are great. Nachos are worth the cost.

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was amazing! The server was so sweet and helpful. She took the time to explain to us what was a popular dish and was very attentive with our coffees and waters.

The decor was really cool inside. We both ordered the Breakfast Burritos and they were so delicious.

We will return next time we are in town! Recommend this place :)

A nice find with great service. Ate here for a late lunch on a whim (was craving a breakfast burrito and saw one on their menu). We got seated right away on the front patio facing the strip just outside the main dining room and our server took our order pretty soon after. Now, here's where they earned our future business... After we placed our order, we waited... and waited... and waited.... About 30-35 minutes passed since we ordered and we were getting really hungry, but just chilled and waited since we weren't really in any particular hurry when our server came over to refill our drinks. He apologized for the delay and explained that they got swamped due to the promo coupons that were being passed out on the strip and it caused a massive backup in the kitchen. No prob, life happens. About a minute later he brought our food and let us know that he comped one of our meals as a thank you for being patient and relaxed about it. THAT'S good service! ANYWAY, on to the food: The Breakfast Burrito with the Steak Al Carbon was great, lots of filling, tender steak, good sauce. A solid meal. The Killer Chilaquiles with chicken were very good as well and could easily be shared by two. I'd definitely be willing to come back and try a few of their other offerings.

Another great outdoor spot to people watch. Had the Mini Carn Mac and Cheese ($8.00) and Sticky Belly Bun

Great Food and Atmosphere. This place has the best lobster and shrimp mac n cheese I have ever had...and I've had my fair share of lobster mac. The sliders (buffalo chicken and filet mignon) were very tasty as well. The Asadero Hash Browns were amazing also. Great beer selection also on draught.

This place has great branding but unfortunately poor service. Salad was big but very lacking and the hostess was the most unpleasant individual I have met
Christine_imaginer
Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Amazing warm pineapple cake with yummy caramel and apricot drizzle. Standing ovation!

Ostensibly seeming to be open 24/7 as listed on the website the restaurant is not yet 100% committed to this from what I was able to gather in a conversation with the hostess or GM – the kitchen currently shutting down for ‘slow hours,’ which considering the fact that I was the only person seated from just after six o’clock until 7:15 could be longer than they presently think.

I like the brand. I like the design and furniture. I like the lighting and fixtures. I like the affordable pricing considering it’s right on the Strip. What I’m not crazy about is the food. It’s average at best. Sticky belly buns ($9) suffered from hard buns, overassessed pork belly and a slaw drowning in liquid reminiscent of a dirty mop soaking in a bucket. They don’t have a kids menu but offered kid-sized portions of their cheese pizza (which was overcooked) and chocolate shake. On the brighter side, the ginger chicken potstickers ($8) showcased a nice sear and ample filling, while the bacon avocado burger’s ($17) chargrilled, well seasoned patty between toasted brioche reminded me why I’m a fan of Smashburger (also created by restaurateur Tom Ryan). It’s a simple, well executed, juicy and greasy burger that satisfies that craving. Washing it down with their Kraken spiced rum salted caramel shake ($13.50) was the perfect way to say F-you to my sometimes healthy eating habits. It was a touch heavy on alcohol (that’s not really a complaint) and I was surprised to hear that waitresses are responsible for creating the shakes, not the kitchen or bar staff. With a location right on the Strip in the boulevard/district area off of NYNY leading to the under construction arena, they’ll probably stay busy. Unfortunately, it won’t be because the food is a hit. 3 Stars New York New York Hotel and Casino 3790 Las Vegas Blvd S Las Vegas, NV 89109 (702) 740-6696
