Review Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro - Las Vegas

Went to Morels for brunch last weekend and the food was so delicious! We ate out on the terrace, the weather was beautiful in the 70s, very pleasant with a nice breeze. Our waiter was so attentive and had a great personality. I ordered the Quiche Lorraine & highly recommend if you ever try their brunch.

Had the Valentine's day pre-fixe menu, and every course was amazing! The steak main course was cooked perfectly. Definitely one of the better Las Vegas steakhouses. The service was also impeccable. You never had to ask for anything twice, and your drink was always kept full. Thank you for making our Valentine's day very special.

Service started off a little rough - finally another server noticed we had been sitting for about 20mins and came over to our table. Once we had a server everything was great. Food and drink quality were excellent. Would definitely come back for another try.

I'll admit, I really was expecting more. I had always wanted to try this restaurant and was really excited when I saw they had a special menu for Restaurant Week. What's better than a great meal and a donation to a great cause? I got there a bit early to meet my party and was seated. The ambiance was like that of the restaurant in "Pretty Woman", you know, where she had the escargot slip out of her reach. As my party arrived, we ordered coffee while perusing the menus. It was a 3 course breakfast; the first course was fresh fruit. Each bowl consisted of fresh strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, honeydew, cantaloupe chunks. Next course I chose was the eggs Benedict. Now this was different, in the respect that it was not on an English muffin. It was on brioche which really tasted and had the texture of cake. It was also not with Canadian bacon, but with smoked ham. I asked for mine on the side as I wasn't eating it, but could share with others. Good thing, as I noticed my portion of smoked ham was so much more than my friend's next to me and another person said she hardly had any. I told her to just take as much as she wanted. There were no home potatoes either, like the 3 egg American breakfast. The third course was a chocolate mousse. Different, but why not have chocolate mousse for breakfast? The coffee was good, but as I said I (we, actually), had come to expect more from a restaurant of the name and reputation. Our server was pretty good (I'm sorry, but his name escapes me now), and even had conversations with us about our Las Vegas Golden Knights and the Las Vegas Ballpark. Maybe it would have been different if it was dinner, so I'll just have to chance that at a later date. Not anytime soon, though.

Review based on dinner. Morels is a great restaurant for dinner with many options and good wine selections. The restaurant is $40+ area per entrée. Service was excellent and very attentive. Sommelier came by table to offer wine suggestions. Bread served before dinner with some tapenade and the meals were served with three different sea salts. Prime rib with shallots and carrots was excellent. Overall very impressed. However when we went there earlier in the day for a happy hour drink, they were not offering any cocktails, although advertised them on a banner out the door. Bar tender took a while to greet us even though there were only a couple of other people there.

Our evening started with great cocktails at the bar. We had 12 in our party. The servers provided great attention. Food was excellent. My wife and I split a NY strip steak which was cooked to perfection. Lobster Mac n cheese wow!! Everyone really enjoyed the experience.

First time here and I think we found our new Sunday brunch place. The ambiance is very French, the dining area is very comfortable and open and welcoming. The staff was very good at what they do. Very helpful and professional. The food was prepared exactly to our liking and request - which is a great sign of great chefs. The menu was abundant with brunch choices and there are plenty of stuff to try. The desserts look equally yummy too. Juan our waiter was excellent. I’ve already booked March and April through opentable. Can’t wait.

Absolutely one of the best dinners I’ve had. This was a non-busy Friday night. Service was very friendly and very attentive. The food was AMAZING (especially the cheese plate). We had a New York strip steak and, man, was it cooked to perfection. The portion was huge! Great oysters as well. Wonderful atmosphere and I must say I LOVE this place. Would highly recommend on a non-busy night.

Attended a hosted event here. First they had us gather on the veranda for wine and beer of good quality. The space was a bit tight for the size of gathering, staff was very attentive. Then we were moved into a lovely private dining room with preset tables and menus with hosts 3 selections. All entrees included a sauce and sides which could be removed or substituted to accommodate gluten free. Staff was knowledgeable and happy to help. After selecting I was brought the dish with the sauce and had to send back to be replated without sauce. The food was well-seasoned and service very professional and accommodating. I would definitely visit Morel’s again. Recommend vigilance for those with food allergies.

Was in town for the Anita Baker concert and our group was running a little behind in schedule but we still wanted to sit down and eat at a nice restaurant before the show. The staff was so accommodating regarding that. Food/drinks/bills came out in record timing! My steak was cooked to perfection, drinks were refreshing and my friend had this lobster tail topped with pasta that looked so delicious. Check it out if you're in town

We stayed at The Venetian and were trying to find a place for dinner. The husband wanted steak. We stopped at some other places first but no where had a kids menu. We came here and they did! The food was great. The kitchen did seem slow. I feel like we were there forever. But it was relaxing, we didn't have to wait for a table, and my kids had something they would eat too.

Morels is amazing. Every time I’ve been here the service and food have been top notch. They have a great selection of wine. The food selection is what you’d expect from a high end steakhouse. This trip I had the calamari appetizer which was fantastic. I ordered the grass fed NY steak which was cooked to perfection!! For dessert, I had a cappuccino and macaron quartet; both excellent.

Fantastic service and exceptional food! The Caesar salad made table-side was a highlight, once of the best Caesars I've ever eaten. Wine list is also very good, a nice selection of price points and regions. Pricey, but that's to be expected for a steakhouse on The Strip.
