Got off the Big Bus tour at SLS to try Umami Burgers as we read about this franchise in an online article. Was wondering what umami flavor actually was so we had to give it a try. Overall it was a great experience. We had the Umami original burger and the Truffle burger. Both were excellent but I'd have to say the Truffle burger was my favorite of the two as it was nice and simple with rich flavor. We also had the sweet potato fries, can never go wrong with that and we weren't disappointed. We liked the cinnamon sprinkling on the sweet potato fries, a nice added touch!

I was extremely happy with my truffle burger and sweet potato fries. That truffle oil just does its magic every time. I asked for medium and the burger was cooked exactly medium. The sweet potato fries were lightly dusted in sugar and cinnamon. Got me beer from their vast beer selection. Service was great and atmosphere and decor very modern. We sat outside and could the stratosphere from where we were. would highly recommend this burger bar.

First time, had great customer service and the food was actually really good since some reviews have mix feelings about this place. My burger came out medium rare just like how I ordered it and the taste was delicious! The Buff Fingers were also really good with great flavor that we had to order another order. Overall great environment and friendly staff with some delicious food!

Great place to watch a game, get a bite, and/or wager on a sporting event connected to the Sahara Casino. Very good food, atmosphere, and service. Perfect for Sunday football with views of multiple televisions from just about any seating location in the house. Will return!

As always you know what yo expect here. Expensive burger and a loud sports bar. However, I tried the loaded fries today, and even though they charged $2 to add about a teaspoon of jalepenos... I must say they were amazing!!! Exoext to spend around $30 on burger, fries and a soda.

I liked the Truffled Beet salad so much I ate at Umami Burger at SLS Las Vegas twice. The music is a bit loud, but we could communicate. Mainly, this is a sports bar with lots of televisions blaring different sports.

My boyfriend and I came here for a late dinner last night because we had a coupon. We shared the chicken nachos, he had the manly burger with truffle fries and I had the Cali burger with manly fries. Our waitress was nice, but slow. She did not check on us very much and it felt that she was rushing around. We enjoyed the food, but I don’t know if we would come back without having another coupon.

Umami, the California-based casual eatery, is part of the slowly sinking SLS Las Vegas. This typically empty hotel and casino was hopping when I stopped by several weeks ago for the NFL kick-off to see the Pats-Steelers game. Despite the unusually busy night, we managed to snag a booth. The room, with its industrial-looking exposed pipes and brick walls, has booths lining the walls, with tables and sofas filling out the center, and on this night a radio crew handing out gifts and prizes.

My hubby's Signature Burger Very juicy and good texture! My Ahi Tuna Burger Very fresh and surprising delicious! The vinegar marinated veggie on top of the patty was very refreshing.

... We finally gave Umami Burger a try. The Code sent Frank 50% off for his birthday. It seemed like a good excuse to give it a whirl. Service was attentive. Our waitress got started on our Union Jack ($9) and Mama's Little Yella Pils ($8) while we looked over the menu. We settled on the Manly burger ($12) for him and the Umami aka Original burger ($12) for me. Both prepared medium rare. We ordered two secret menu items: Cheesy Tots ($5) and Manly Fries ($6.50). Prior to our food coming out, we were given house condiments: jalapeno ranch, mega spicy and garlic aioli. We were warned of the spiciness but didn't believe it would be as hot as it was. We enjoy spicy too. We didn't like the aioli at all, but the jalapeno ranch was the standout. It livened up the original burger and it was good on the tots and fries. Also, better than the housemade ketchup.
