Review Leticia's Mexican Cocina - Las Vegas

I’ve been a fan of Leticia’s since she opened her first restaurant. The food is consistently delicious and one of the best Mexican restaurants in the valley. I do wish that the restaurant at Santa Fe Casino was enclosed so as to prevent smoking smells and gambling noise from permeating inside the restaurant.

I've tried this restaurant several times in the past with friends and family, and I find myself coming back from time to time because this restaurant is really good. I remember trying this restaurant for the first time when it was in the Centennial location off of Farm, and I was glad that they didn't close down operations for good - just moved to inside Santa Fe Casino. My experiences at this restaurant have been phenomenal. The service they provide is spectacular and is one of many highlights to this business. One thing I did notice that ever since this restaurant moved locations, it doesn't have that warm, family feeling as much as when it was in the Centennial location (maybe because it's inside a casino). Regardless, it didn't affect the overall service. I won't list everything I've tried here because honestly, i forgot some of them...but I assure you that there wasn't one dish that was less than adequate. During my most recent visit, my wife and I ordered the Carne Asada Quesadilla, Chamorro Adobado, and Carnitas, and I'll tell you what, those entrées were remarkable. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio is reasonable. I really enjoy how this restaurant supports the men and women of the Armed Forces and its Veterans - it's highly appreciated. If you've never tried this restaurant before, I recommend you to stop by. If it's during peak hours, I will urge you to make a reservation because it tends to get busy due to the restaurant's popularity in the area.

Overall, good food and service, every time we come. This last trip, we did brunch, and it was good. The only issue was that the host seating us only gave us 1 brunch menu, and when we requested 2 more, she refused and said we could only have 1 more and needed to share. That experience by itself has me recommending to others not to go for brunch. Lunches and dinners here have always been great. Our servers are always friendly and attentive.

Absolutely amazing food and impeccable service. We will definitely go back. Food is fresh, unique, well varied, authentic with indigenous twists, and absolutely flavorful. Seriously. GO. The atmosphere is pleasant and whimsical, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Very well priced, especially for the quality and portions received. 10 out of 10!!!

The kids, my husband and myself visited Letecia’s, after we took home first place in aVegas wrestling tournament. We decided to eat here specifically because it was in our hotel and also because we are huge Mexican food fans and I’m always trying items to duplicate and home and make for my kids, as I love to cook. We came upon Letecia’s which we did have to wait a bit for a table with a server. They did have multiple tables that were open, but I guess no one was manning those tables, so we had to sit and wait. Regardless, the restaurant was nicely decorated and the service were friendly and attentive even though they put us in an empty room they didn’t forget we were there. We sat down order ourselves drinks and they brought us chips and salsa, which is always my favorite part of eating at a Mexican restaurant the pre-snack before the wave over food comes and then your in a food coma. The chips were warm when received, which is always a nice touch and the salsa was hot, but not too uncomfortable. I have to watch myself with those chips though, as the crispness and salty snaps of the chip indulge your senses. Anyways, enough about the chips. I had the chicken taco salad along with most of my kids. Taco salads are so great and the best part is that crispy bowl you can use to scoop delicious portions of salad and your fixing on. Most people don’t understand the taco salad obsession, but if you try it you’ll be surprised it is quite satisfying. I did give this restaurant a 4 because my husband’s food, which I tried to wasn’t as good as I would expected in a Vegas restaurant. He got the Diablo shrimp, which is spicy but has a great taste to it. The shrimp wrapped in bacon and then in the bowl is the Diablo sauce which the set the shrimp in. Along the shrimp would have been good, but with the sauce it had a sour taste to it. Other than that it wasn’t horrible I’m sure if we didn’t visit again my husband will definitely try something else.

5 out of 5 stars. Atmosphere, staff, and food were great. being from New Mexico, I don’t traditionally eat Mexican food outside of the state or in restaurants. However, on this business trip, I was invited to this restaurant at the Santa Fe station. The decor was amazing. The staff was friendly and spoke very good Spanish and the food was phenomenal. I had the empanadas with shrimp and chorizo and they were spectacular. The refried beans are unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before, and the drinks were great.

Celebrated a birthday w a large party of 25 people here in the private dining room last week and Leticia’s staff did not disappoint. The food as excellent, the service was exceptional, the atmosphere was private and everyone had a great time. Thank you for helping make my birthday so memorable!

We’ve been here a few times and every time, our experience is the same, great! I normally go directly for the street tacos and they are phenomenal! We try our best to ask for Bill to be our waiter because he’s hard working and also extremely respectful and funny. We’ll keep coming back as long as the restaurant is around when we visit the theaters.

Whether you're just having apps and drinks at the bar or a full sit down meal, you will find something delicious on the menu. The beans they bring out with the chips are so good. Try a Molcajete!

Went to Leticia's located within the Santa Fe casino. The wife and I chose to sit out by the casino floor to people watch and hopefully see someone win big on a slot machine. We were taken to our table immediately and sat for a good 20 minutes before a waitress showed up. We placed an order for cocktails, and that took another 20 minutes. The waitress finally took our food order 45 minutes into our visit. Leticia's food quality has really improved over the last few years, but not yet what I would call 5 star. The margaritas are good if your waitress can get them to in a reasonable amount of time. Would we go back? Sure, we'd give them another shot, hopefully service efficiency will improve.

Service was perfect. I should give it another try. I had the pork tamales with green sauce. They were good. I guess with everything I'd heard, I was expecting knock your socks off flavor. Atmosphere seems a bit off. It's like fine dining, but celebrity photos on the wall. I'm not quite sure what it is about it, but it's like it's missing something. Or maybe trying too hard? I know people rave about this spot. It's hard giving it anything but 5 stars because having independent places like Leticia's near home, so far from the strip is a privilege. I hope to try something different and be blown away.

My wife and I had dinner here before a movie, and it was pretty much as normal. We frequently come here because the food is good and we get great service, except for this time. The food was still very good and came out very quickly. The server, on the other hand, was so so. He didn't say anything more than he had to, never came back to check if everything was correct after our meals were brought out, nor did he ask if we needed refills or more coffee. I even put my cup next to our check / card as a hint, and he nudged it out of the way to take the check. We will go back as we like this spot, though this gentleman server needs a refresher.

This is the most authentic upscale Mexican Food I've had here in Vegas!

This was the BEST Mexican food I’ve had out here in 7 years! Our server Jose was wonderful, he did not miss a beat! He service was perfect and the food was even better! Can’t believe we haven’t been here in all the years we have lived here! We will be back and definitely recommend this place. The fajitas were amazing, the posole blanco was so good the flavor was deep and perfect! My husband had a pastor stuffed relleno which was delicious. Again wonderful service and fabulous food. Don’t miss out! Go here, you won’t regret it.

Me and my partner tried this place for dinner. It is inside of the Sante Fe Station. Our waiter, Cruz, was awesome! He was kind, honest, and checked in on us a decent (but not disturbing) amount lol Let's get into the food. Chips and Salsa + Beans 9/10 Queso fundido with handmade tortillas 10/10 Famous Tacos 9/10 Empanadas 8/10 Fried Ice Cream 8/10 Everything was honestly pretty good. The queso fundido was my favorite by far. However the famous tacos were delicious, almost like a steak quesadilla. 😋 The rice was one of my favorites I had. And the cilantro rice was pretty good as well.

It is one of the top three Mexican restaurants in North Las Vegas and perhaps Las Vegas. The service is expeditious, the food is delicious food and well prepared, all for a fair price. It's my go-to when I feel the need for some phenomenal Mexican food.

First impressions are lasting impressions 😎 I've visited twice and I've had enchiladas, queso taco, chile verde, and chile relleno 😳🙃😂 New to town. Given my previous experiences with mexican food places in LV I wasn't expecting much... Boy was I wrong! This place is great! The mexican food is on point and good! Portions are reasonable and in some cases general. The menu is surprisingly robust and packed with traditional dishes. My goal is to plow through as much of the menu as possible 🤓 Prices are decent relative to all else mentioned. Service is great..but the star of the show is the cantina! Great drinks, prices, portions and SERVICE! Bartender lady is SUPER NICE and always attentive. Definitely earns her tips. If you are in town hit up Leticia's..not a strip locale but a star in its own right! Enjoy 😎
