The prime rib special was great. I have had prime rib special fails, and this was not one of them. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the food was because the mashed potatoes were obviously instant.

The service was awesome. This place was not really busy, but watching the staff interact was cool. They all help each other out when the could. I had the Prime rib and it was great. Come spend your money here you will love the time you will spend in this place. A+ from this guy. Keep up the great customer service guys. I had a good dinner and now to go play some craps!!

We were looking for a steakhouse near Fremont Street and decided to drop in. We were told the wait was 45 minutes but were seated immediately.
Leo was our waiter and he was fantastic! Prices were reasonably and the food was delicious!
They accommodated my gluten allergy with no hesitation.

Quality food, good service, and being at El Cortez is always fun. I'll eat here again. Great value for your money! That means a lot for people visiting. Finding a quality, and plentiful meal without spending a grip can be tough, but this place has that covered. Also, being able to use casino play credits towards your bill is a huge plus.

We went there just to get the Prime Rib Special and left with a smile.
Considering the fair price the food was very good (we ordered it rare and got it rare, which is often an issue when you order it like that in the states) and the portion was generously sized.
But what made our evening a real delight was our server Chrissy who was attentive, always had a smile on her face and was a gem in general.
If you don't come for the food, come for her.
I'll be back for sure.
(To be fair, the tall lady working at the entrance was also excellent, as was the rest of the staff we had contact with)

Matza ball soup is seasoned so well with lots of chicken. It's my favorite all time! Their Wedge is huge! The lettuce is fresh and crisp with lots of smoked bacon and the onion has a nice mellow pickle to it. Their onion rings are nice and crispy, too.

I decided to try the Loco Moto. It was incredible. It's a huge hamburger patty, topped with a egg cooked to choice. I got over medium with this incredible brown gravy on top of a mound of rice. You won't need to eat for hours after this.

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
