The first thing to mention is their welcoming service. They all did a great job. Our server was excellent. Manager always walked around and kept an eye on everyone. Food was hot. Salad was fresh and cold. They had the perfect temperature. Meatballs and bread were good. Lasagna was good and not watery like some places serve. Tiramisu was good as well. If you ever walked around Caesars Palace, then you know how hectic and loud it can be. As soon as you walk in this little gem, you basically walk into a nice sanctuary with an intimate setting, great service and good food. We will return next time we are in Disneyland for adults!
Service was awesome and but it sucked that we sat by the pathway of the ramp. I don't like it when people are always walking passed me.
Food:
Lasagna - it was dry and bland.
Green Tomatoes with Burrata (Caprese)- this dish was refreshing and I loved it.
Fried Calamari- delicious and I would come back for this dish alone.
Overall, the interior decor is beautiful. I would return to try other dishes.
Classic Italian food paired with excellent service made for a wonderful experience. Our server Moses made some spot on recommendations from the app to our meals. Definitely get the meatballs, they were wonderfully tasty and tender. We shared a salad then had the lasagna and pasta al vodka. We skipped out on the wine that the people around us were enjoying.
Reservations are recommended but they were able to seat us quickly without it. A premium price but well worth it.
A comfortable dining experience, their menu offers varied options though still feels limited, though that feel may wane if you consider dessert and drink options when presented. A bar is also available, and it was advised that food can be served there but not to the same degree as when seated to a table. Nonetheless, my first experience here was pleasant, and for the food and dessert I ordered, I left feeling deeply satisfied. The hosts were also quite attentive, as might be expected. I will certainly return one day.
Our party of four all got different items and everything was delicious!
We also got a few desserts and they were delicious too.
I really don’t think you can go wrong here.
It is a little pricey for what you get but the service and overall experience is worth it.
I definitely recommend.
The restaurant is located within Caesar's Palace. During the week, when not busy, it may appear closed but it is not! You can reserve a table via OpenTable. Very dimly lit (can be difficult to read menu). It can be loud from all the chatter. The menu had nice choices. I felt everything was so overpriced. I ordered a seafood pasta. The claw was served in shell but they did not provide a small fork to retrieve the meat (I wrestled it w my dinner fork). Go to Bobby Flay's for Port Wine after dinner. Service was excellent and food was delicious.
The sibling restaurant of the iconic italian establishment in nyc, except you can actually get a table. Everything from outside to inside is exactly the replicate of the ny original, including the photos on the wall. The host was very warm and attentive.
Rao’s is classic family style italian that serves some non-sophisticated traditional dishes, but cooked extremely delicious. There is something charming and warm about family recipes. It is traditional and authentic. It is the kind of food that tastes even better knowing the history behind it.
We got the iconic meatballs, which was incredibly soft, and the marinara sauce was so fresh, flavorful, and aromatic. The pappardelle with duck confit was the BEST i ever had. The noodles was perfectly done, al-dente and chewy, wrapped in the duck grease. It was heavenly. Also get the salad - all ingredients tasted so fresh and those parmesan was irresistible. Definitely of the most memorable italian food i had.
Good food but service was not top notch. The ceasar salad was amazing. The plate was cold and the romaine was crisp. Bread also amazing.
Food good! Lasagne was great but not piping hot. The server was inattentive and really killed the vibe for the evening.
Everyday is Christmas at Rao's ! That's the nice warm feeling you get as you walk though the doors an see all the Christmas decor in the New York room !
Which I was told by the staff they keep them up year round.
Right away I felt at home the staff loves there job and it shows the high energy good vibe were felt throughout the whole restaurant !
Only thing left to do was to try the highly anticipated food and see what the buzz and hype that everyone's been talking about!
1st thing I ordered was was there traditional meatballs with marinara sauce which I have to say they almost taste just as good if not better then my grandmother's meatballs which are just as big and delicious but didn't have soft melt in your mouth texture you could taste the veal right away !
My next dish was a house special! The claim and linguini plate with your options of white or red wine sauce I went with the white sauce which I was not disappointed the claims were seasoned and cooked to perfection and the linguini was al dente so good made me smile uncontrollably.
I also tried the lasagna by this time I was full but the taste was so delicious I had to move on!!!!
I LEFT WITH A Cannoli and heartfelt experience I will be back soon and tell all my family and friends about this wonderful dining experience at Rao's
Thanks to my waiter Jimmy Jamz who made our visit a 5 star experience a long with the wonderful lovely hostess
Great food, exceptional service ( I think it was John)
We ordered lentil soup, beetroot and goat cheese salad with rucola and pistachio, it was perfect. Burrata salad... well I would not call it salad but it was ok, we enjoyed it. The coffee is totally up to our expectations and this was not easy to find in LV for us.
Absolutely wonderful. The food is worth every penny. It is not a buffet. It is fine dinning. Highly recommended. Staff was great + no line. Ambiance is fantastic!
Yum. You have to have the meatballs. We also ordered Chicken with Italian sausage. The food was great. Waiters wonderful. Setting is nice to look at. BIG complaint is I can't see. I had to use my phone flashlight to read the menu and see the food. I understand mood lighting but I think they have gone to far.
6-14-21:
Came here as Vegas started to reopen after the pandemic. Sat at the bar and received great service from the bartender 👍.
Tried the carbonara and was not disappointed. Pasta still is very well prepared and tasty.
My family also had the spaghetti Bolognese. Again, like my review of 3 years ago, there wasn't enough sauce. Don't know why this happened twice.
Four ⭐ is about right.
Dec 2017:
Huge portions of pasta. Spaghetti Bolognese was good. Could have used more sauce.
Appetizer of fried calamari and shrimp could have been done better. Too much batter on the food.
The food was a mixed bag. First, the meatballs were AMAZING, which is what they are known for, but I was not expecting them to be that delicious. The peanut butter cheesecake was also pretty delicious. My least favorite was the grotto Misti. The batter was very bland and lacked any real flovar from that or the sea food. The only saving Grace for the dish was the marinara and aioli, which is why they provide so much with the dish.
I would go again the next time I stay at Ceasers.
This is a very classy place, the food is delicious, the service was pretty fast when you were there. But it's a good place to sit down with your special dining friends or business folks and just enjoy a great Italian meal. The lasagna was also pretty good.
Wow, awesome food. Great food, awesome service and for the quality, decent price. Awesome wine list. I will go back next time I am in Las Vegas. Make a reservation! There was room at the bar, but a reservation is needed if you want a table and especially during peak times.
