Review Craftsteak - Las Vegas

Overall a great evening, start to finish. Definitely worth it and something you shouldn’t rush. We had the beef tartare and the tuna appetizer to start and was treated to some AMAZING fresh baked buns!!!! We had to ask for second as they were quite delicious and buttery. For dinner we order the Porterhouse with three side dishes and the chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious and enough for 4 hungry adults. We did not need a single thing more as we were stuffed… The service was immaculate, and the staff were extremely polite and of service. Truly, an amazing experience

An absolutely incredible dining experience! By far my favorite restaurant I've ever been to. The wait staff were all incredible. Truly the kindest dining staff I've ever had. The food was very very delicious. I had the prawns and pureed potatoes and monkeybread. I felt so welcome and highly highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying at the MGM Grand or in Vegas.

This was probably the best steakhouse experience ever. Food was above delicious, staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Manager came to the table multiple times asked if everything is OK. Just spectacular. Extremely professional customer service My next Las Vegas trip that’s my place to go.

I was the last minute add-on to a reservation with a group of friends and boy am I glad I joined them. This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life, and also some of the best service I’ve ever had. Our waiter Marvin was amazing, he knew exactly what he was doing when he offered a tasting type menu. There was a group of 5 grown men who can EAT! And boy did we eat! Two shrimp cocktails, three different types of salads, 5 steaks and I lost count of how many side items. The steaks were amazing one of them was the softest steak I’ve ever eaten in my life, it practically melted in our mouths. Then to top It odd dessert showed up! The chocolate cake and the monkey bread… omg I can’t even put into words how awesome it was. Again without Marvin’s guidance on what to order I’m sure our meals would’ve been great but he set this up for us to have an amazing meal. All 5 of us agree that this was one of, if not the best meal of our lives. Thank you to Marvin and Richard for making our meals and our night! This is a very reasonably priced high end steak house. We spent $150 each including a 20% tip that we added.

Our waitress was outstanding as were her colleagues. The food was done to perfection. Sides are meant for sharing and there's an adequate amount to share! It would me nice to see a few more reasonably priced wines by the glass.

Loved our experience here. I recommend making reservations as I think there's a hefty wait time if you don't but plenty of day-of reservations. I can also confirm that dressed code isn't enforced. Don't dress like a bum, but don't sweat it if you didn't bring dress shoes and long pants. It's August, it's 105 degrees outside. They get it. Every person we encountered was amazingly nice. We had a great time and it's such a cool space. The food was perfectly prepared, if a touch salty. Steaks were perfectly cooked. It was fairly expensive, but we'll be back.

Upscale steakhouse. Food is outstanding, they served Japanese A5 Wagyu done perfectly. The place has old school club vibes and great for entertaining clients. Service is attentive and flexible. They accommodated us when our party size increased and the checks were merged seamlessly. They have an extensive wine selection paired to the food. Good dessert options but Creme Brulé was the best. Overall great experience.

I have nothing but absolutely amazing things to say about this place. The food and the service are equally superb. The servers care… which is so hard to find. My boyfriend and I are notorious for being late to everything, which on September 10th we just so happen to be late again for our anniversary reservations😂. The front desk was so accommodating with moving our reservation around and back and up LOL. Then when the slow taxi driver got us there… (side note: traffic is terrible and it doesn’t matter the time of day, always leave early) the table they sat us at was beautiful. The restaurant is so beautifully set up and feels luxurious. We let our server know ahead of our ordering that we had less than an hour to eat and go to our cirque du soleil show in the MGM grand (completely our own fault!!). But our server had a team of people as well as the kitchen pitch in and help make our anniversary dinner special while accommodating our time constraints. The kitchen turned our appetizers and meal around in moments! It was the fastest service in the history of service!!! But this did not affect the quality of the dishes in the slightest! Also, before I forget, the wine was amazing too! So minutes to spare, while we are finishing up paying and dashing to the show, we are brought a thoughtful and delicious chocolate dessert with a special anniversary note on the plate. The whole staff made us feel truly special and important for that evening, and we appreciated all of it. There are no words to describe a restaurant with staff that are passionate about their guests experience, this restaurant is the true definition of when you treat your team with respect and love they take care of your guests which in turn makes the business an unforgettable place to dine. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. I have talked about the staff to the best of my ability and the food, I have no words, the best dishes that I have had. I will just drop the pictures here, run to this restaurant to try for yourself!!

I went for a pre-Knights’ game meal at Craftsteak on a busy Tuesday night and had an all-round great dining experience. I started with the octopus, then had a filet with a side of the Gruyère mashed potatoes with bacon, followed by the monkey bread. The monkey bread was incredible and one of my favorite desserts I have had recently. The only drawbacks I could identify was the wayfinding through the casino to get to the venue, and dining in the bar area is not as nice as the main dining room. The food and service speaks for itself though and I will definitely be back!

Spectacular meal from start to finish. By far the best steak I've ever had (dry age ribeye). The octopus appetizer was incredible. Ignore all the flashy restaurants elsewhere and enjoy a quieter meal with top notch service. I wish I could give this place 6 stars.

While staying at the MGM hubby and I had the opportunity for a quick date night. I love Tom and Top Chef so I was excited to go downstairs and try Craftsteak. Hubby and I had the best meal (and service) we’ve ever eaten!! We chose the chef’s choice which made our experience even better. We started with 4 appetizers (roasted peach with spinach in a vinegrette, cucumber and arugula in a citrus dressing, heriloom tomatoes and wagyu with crostini). Each appetizer was tastier then then the next. The fresh ingredients in each plate were what elevated the flavors. Then we each got our steak (filet for me and tbone for hubby) and 3 sides (mashed potatoes, sweet white corn and a mixture of different mushrooms). We were super full at this point but I’d never pass a bite of dessert. We received 4 desserts. Again each one better then the next. We got monkey bread with banana and cinnamon ice cream, Meyer lemon tart with raspberry sorbet, strawberry and mango ice cream and a plate of nuts and fruits. Everything tasted amazing. Each ice cream tasted fresh with real fruit that just melted in your mouth. The star however was the monkey bread. The warm caramel and pecans mixture was amazing!!!! Best food experience we’ve ever had. Shout out to Randall and his team for the stellar service.

My first time at Craftsteak was a dream. If you need a delicious steak, this is where you come. Tom knows his stuff. “The staff waits on me too much” is something I saw in another review, and this is such a first world problem. I bet their company was bad enough to notice... The staff is kind, considerate, helpful, well-mannered, and I know have the best of intentions at heart. The one thing I will say is that the recommendation that three sides (we did veg, mushroom, and starch) were going to be enough for an 8+ people table was incorrect. I would recommend one side per three people. At least, with the way that I eat good food. One to two sides is enough for a party of two who EAT. One day I will get that A5 wagyu... a girl has no money.

Coming to the Craft is a must everytime we come to Vegas. Starting with the service, it is excellent. We always feel very well taken care of!! Then comes the food, Wow! It is always on point!! I love the ribeye and my hubby loves the Hanger steak! The sides are amazing!! I can go on and on.....with all the great food in Vegas this is by far the best!!

Very nice atmosphere, wait staff was excellent, the food was great, only complaint was paying extra for peppercorn sauce and only got about 2 tablespoons or so poured into the bottom of the steak plate, not nearly enough for the added few.

Good was so so. Overpriced and our waiter Marvin was horrible. His helpers were far more Attintive to our party of 4 that Marvin. He was there to celebrate the 20 year anniversary and he was from New York. He should go back and cater To his high dollar clients. Our bill was over 600.00 dollars and our service from Marvin was as if we are at a taco bell. Wont go back and will not recommend the restaurant to anyone. Tender steakhouse at luxor beat the pants off Craft.

We stopped in on a whim after smelling the tasty food on our way past. It was so worth it. Everything was amazing. The service staff was on their game and the food was hard to put down.

Ordered filet mignon/medium well came out well done, got a hot tea but kept asking for more hot tea/ you shouldn't have to ask especially while eating and your cup is empty...bad service but appetizer avocado salad was great and dessert banana cream foster was GREAT and we even had to waive the waiter to get our check , it took forever...but glad I tried this place but better because won't be going back

I had the best experience here first time 3 yrs ago. Last night I went back and was lusting over the parkerhouse rolls I so enjoyed yrs ago and it was a bust. The rolls were dried, and cold as in old rolls. Lobster bisque was outstanding. Beet salad with pickled egg were okay due to over cooked beets. Quail with pickled blueberries was OUTSTANDING! I had braised short rib and it was ok. The sea scallops cooked just right. My friends Ribeye was FANTASTIC! Perfectly cooked! Lobster a bit over cooked. The white corn was awesome but over salted so was the spinach. And most of the food came out lukewarm except the lobster bisque. Dinner was great overall. However, many dishes were over salted. Price point is somewhat high and food should be on the same level. Serving staff was great. I hope next time I go back and it would be like the very first time experience I had.

Been here a few times. The staff blew it on Saturday. I don't particularly like sitting and waiting almost 25 minutes for meals to arrive. Nobody bothered to check on us. When food finally arrived it was not prepared to order. Again , nobody bothered to check with us Kinda , disturbing for a higher end restaurant I won't be back

It was ok. Way to many people waiting on u and coming to u. Lobster bisque was good but bot $18 good for a small bowl of soup. My wife and I ordered a salad but it was a mozzarella cheese salad with roasted peppers. It was just ok. We ordered a ribeye which was above average and ordered a sise of squah and rosemary potatoes. Portions were ridiculously to large. And each side was $15. As a chef myself, cut down the sides in half and charge less. Make it a dinner instead of alacarte on everything. Butternut squash was under cooked. Rosemary potatoes were ok but I surely wasnt blown away. Overall experience for the price I give it a B-. I wouldnt go back.

The staff is excellent there. The General Manager approached me and introduced himself, as did many of the people serving us. The atmosphere is very relaxing, a dimly lit setting with tasteful treatments - all high end accents. The food was Great! I will definitely come back again!

I was so excited about dining here that maybe I let my expectations get the better of me. We were sat right away, hostesses very nice. Our server was also very nice. Rolls were just ok; no flavor except for the sea salt. Braised short ribs were very rich. My friend ordered the ribeye but got the filet instead. Waiter came over maybe 5 mins after our food came, said it was his mistake but nothing was done. Brown butter corn is great!

As wonderful as it is to share such experiences with a loved one, there’s something to be said for going it alone. Sometimes you’re ignored and given bare minimum treatment, and other times you’re spoiled! This was an occasion where they spoiled me, especially since I told them I have been wanting to eat here for years. When I told the server my order for main course and sides, he had the perfect appetizer in mind. He was very engaging, as well as one of the managers, and I was on Cloud 9 the whole time! (And in looking around at the other guests, this is standard procedure.) The heirloom tomatoes were garden fresh and paired perfectly with the mozzarella, the asparagus was super tasty, the recommendation of the mushrooms was spot-on, and of course the filet was perfection! I said so many “thank yous” as I was leaving, but is just not enough. Thank you again!

This place is the real deal. Ignore the all the ignorant and foolish comments. Best steak house between New York and L.A. I will tell I know and strangers as well to dine here.
