Lawry's The Prime Rib

Excellent service. Men’s restroom needs to be remodeled - a little dirty and outdated. Not a huge fan of the French Dressing. But all in all, food was very tasty. Prime rib was cooked to perfection. Mashed potatoes and gravy and cream corn were delicious. Lobster Bisque was divine. Will come back again if the opportunity presents itself.

Where to start? The Lounge was fantastic!!! The Meat and Potato martini is amazing!! I have been visiting Lawry's on and off for the past 25 years here in Las Vegas. On all of my visits, the service and food were PERFECT!! However this evening for our Holiday dinner it was off. My husband and I ordered the same cut of meat and they were entirely different. We both ordered medium rare and only his was medium rare. We switched because I love the bone!! The boss's medium rare was medium and he had to send it back. A big plus was the warm baked sourdough bread. Forget about our spinning salad, it was wilted and not what I remembered from former visits. You are supplied with a butter knife because the prime rib is presumed to be so soft if it can be cut with one. NOPE not my cut, I had to request a steak knife and even then it was a battle. The creamed spinach was great and the mashed potatoes were well mashed. Our service was okay. We had a table of 11 and our waiter came by twice. We had to flag down the busboy to ask for several items. AND the second martini that I ordered, I asked for it to be dirty and it wasn't. Not bad, just not what I wanted, but I drank it. The star of the evening was the Sticky English Toffee Cake. AMAZING.....5 stars!!! Moist, rich, and worth every bite!! The room was a tad hot. Truly enjoyed our Christmas Carolers. Would I go back??? Maybe to chill out in the lounge for a Meat and Potato Martini, an order of Crab Cakes, and the Sticky English Toffee Cake, maybe!

This was the best dinner in Las Vegas from a 7 night visit; it's better than the restaurants right on strip. The place was packed on Thanksgiving day. We first had drinks in the bar area. Reservation was at 5:30pm but didn't get seated until 5:50pm as they were behind. That's understandable for a holiday. Had the meat and potatoes martini, which includes prime rib stuffed olives with Chopin vodka. It was one of the smoothest martinis I've ever had, delicious. The sourdough bread was soft, seemed like it was just baked. The prime rib was tender and delicious. Had a turkey side plate and requested dark meat, had good flavor. Everything was a winner. Only complaint: I wish they could separate families with annoying kids, lol.

What an extraordinary dinner we had at Lawrey’s! Best prime rib I have ever eaten! Carved table side lime Simpson’s in the Strand in London! The spinning salad is delicious and fun to watch them make at the table! Our server, Benjamin, could not have been nicer! Great attention paid to my son on his birthday! Lots of parking. Not far from the Strip! Big elegant tables and booths!
