Mrs. Chung’s cafe is one of the best places to dine and just spend time with friends and family. The setting and atmosphere in her place is so relaxing and you feel like your home. Her dishes are amazing and different, great change from other places in LaPlace! Our whole family has gotten to know Mrs. Chung and she has made us always feel like part of her family when we come to eat. I highly recommend at least coming to try her food and enjoy her place, I doubt you’ll be disappointed!!!
I just had the best croissant breakfast sandwich ever! It literally melted in my mouth! It was awesome!
The flavor, hospitality and quality, far surpass anything in the surrounding area! We had the Korean po boy, chicken tacos and shrimp and corn soup. AMAZING! Better than anything inside New Orleans!! We were given free Beignets that were WAY BETTER than cafe du monde!!
The best place to eat in Laplace! Love this place.
Great little eclectic place. The spicy korean poboy was outstanding.
The food is always delicious. Super consistent! Mrs Chung is also the sweetest soul!
Always Fresh!!! You feel the Love when you walk threw the door!!

AWSOME. I love the Korean poboy. Yummy
Perfect place for a nice lunch and the atmosphere is so nice! Love this place
I've had the chicken sandwich a few times and the way she seasons it is delicious! Also, the beignets are as good, if not better than, Cafe du Monde! And Mrs Chung is so sweet! I tell everyone about her place!
Stopped by here at random traveling from Florida to Texas. I was amazed. Great food, warm atmosphere, and Ms. Chung was so sweet! My daughter and I will definitely be stopping back next road trip.
For a place to meet and talk, great. Lunch? Not so much. The food was lukewarm at best and pretty bland. Latté machine was down in much like "McDonald's ice cream machine" way. The saving grace to the whole scenario was the customer service. They were kind helpful and service minded. Next time will try more of the asian fair they have there and something sweet is what they are "famous" for.
Lovely little cafe with friendly staff, good food, and interesting local art. The soup and half sandwich special is great, with a variety of good sandwich options including tuna salad and turkey salad, and a nice shrimp and corn bisque. They have a daily selection of pastries and desserts as well to go along with their Community Coffee selection. This is an excellent place to stop for a quick bite just off the highway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
First impressions means a lot! This place is to die for! Calm, peaceful atmosphere and GREAT food! Pastry beignets....jalapeño sausage on bun.....omg I didn’t want to leave. Thank you Chung!!!

Korean salad plus Korean roll hell of a combo for my fellow big eaters
And her friendly service with a smile .
It was worth the 15 minute bike ride and dammit I'll do it again.
Portion and price you can't beat that with 3 hands
Great service and the food was pretty good. Not very Korean but I get the concept. More Korean-american but still a place to check out if you have time to wait. The owner is the clerk, waitress, and chef.
