Even though we’ve lived in Lapeer for nearly nine years, this was my first visit to Dagwood’s. Man! Fresh ingredients, amazing soups (made there and served until they’re gone for the day), and a small-town aesthetic made this luncheon delicious and memorable. Tried the sirloin, potato and ale soup

One of my favorite places to eat. :) The staff is incredibly friendly and personable. I come once in a while (I live about 30 minutes from there), and they always treat me like family, even though they probably don't remember me. LOL. The sandwiches and salads are amazing. Soups are always top notch
