I had a taste for some French toast. I shop around on the internet looking for a meal. Dan's coney Island had the best deal. I was not disappointed. As a matter of fact, I had put them in my phone permanently. Great breakfast 😋 👌 👍

Had an amazing brunch here with my wife. Food was wonderful.

This is a very busy restaurant for breakfast on the weekends. I opted for takeout.
The Gyro and Spinach skillet was big and very filling. I got a side of tatziki sauce on the side and that really made all the flavors pop.
The counter service was good but because it was busy it took longer to get my order. Still fast at 15 minutes, so kudos to the cooks.
Overall, a good experience and will go again.

Dan’s Coney Island is a delightfully warm and charming locally owned and operated restaurant on Lansing’s South Side. It’s “Comfort Food Extraordinaire!” I had the French Toast breakfast pictured below. Apologies: (It was sooo delicious that I began eating BEFORE snapping this pic!) So you actually get TWICE as much French Toast as pictured here. The rest I devoured. Lol - The waitress was so kind and helpful that I was assured that even though I had limited time, I would be served very quickly! True to her word that is exactly what happened!! Counting calories? Don’t bother! Consider your visit at Dan’s Coney Island your well deserved “cheat day!” I’m looking forward to returning soon!

Perfect family diner. My only complaint is that I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese and the cheese ended up being a half-melted American single. It still tasted fine, but I was expecting melted shredded cheese. Everything else was great! The reuben was piled high with meat and the sauerkraut tasted fresh. The French toast was also the perfect amount of eggy and fluffy. The food was hot and you are certainly getting your money's worth. We'll be back!

I believe i got the country omelet with fried potatoes inside omelet, with their gravy on top. Mmmmmm mmmmm highly recommend this place! Service was also on top of everything pretty quick for the group we had.

Highly recommended! Can’t say enough good things about this place. Everyone is so nice and friendly, coffee keeps coming, food is homemade and delicious, prices are reasonable. Will be our new breakfast spot in South Lansing for sure.

The service was quick and friendly here, and I was super impressed by the menu. Most Coney Islands don’t have a huge selection of griddle items (pancakes, French toast, etc), but this location does! I went with an omelette today, but was left feeling disappointed with the potatoes that came with it. They were bland and not crispy at all. I wish they would offer regular hash browns or maybe diced breakfast potatoes instead, as these ones looked rather unappealing and didn’t taste very good.

Great service from Loren! Amazing food and atmosphere is chill. It's nice to come to a place that isn't with the tech times. Nice nostalgic place brings you back to the good times before the country fell apart.
