Good food and cozy atmosphere. Came in on a snow day and they were short staffed so the waits all around were long, but totally understandable given the situation. While they were out of a lot that day, the burgers were great, fries very crispy, and the wings good. The only thing is the French dip sandwich was SUPER salty - the sandwich itself was already pretty salty but the dip was waaay salty, even given that it's supposed to be on the salter side. Would come again to try their wraps and chili!
We ate dinner here twice during a recent stay in Langley. We'd only intended to eat here once, but our other choices were full on the second night. It's better to be there a little later to avoid the crowd. We both had the chicken burger on the first night. It may have been the most perfectly cooked chicken breast I've ever had. The second night I'd hoped for fish & chips but they were out, so I tried the breaded chicken tenders. The pieces were large, and they tasted extra good dipped in the honey mustard dressing.
Great Place. A fun, lively brewpub that not only serves a good pour of their own stuff but compliments it with a full bar should you desire a change. The food menu is not overbearing, and there is something for every taste bud, though it is upscale pub food. The service is quick and friendly, and even with all the tourists, they still make it feel like a very local destination. It is the atmosphere that makes it worthwhile - a good buzz from the patrons only adds to the joy of having a pint and some food with the folks at Spyhop.
Had a great meal visiting Langley for the first time. Great burger, awesome to have the chicken & veggie options for our varied dietary needs. The staff was very friendly. We plan to return
A pub like this does feel like a place where everyone knows your name. We were greeted warmly at the door, and decided to grab a couple seats at the bar. It was packed with the lunchtime rush. (Not a bad thing at all.) They have a nice selection of cocktails and beers. Noticed they fresh squeezed every orange and lime used in the drinks! We both went with the French Dip. It was tasty, the caramelized onion added a nice flavoring. Fries were good too. Prices were fair and service was spot on. Granted our server was Susan, one of the owners. Truly is friendly place you'll want to come back to!
The food here was amazing and tasted much better than my initial expectations. You have to go up and order and to pay, which I found a little odd, but not a big deal.
EXCELLENT. Spyhop has what we wanted. The food was great, drink selection was choice and crisp, the clientele and folks working there were all very cool. Thank you Spyhop staff and thank you Langley.
I am very picky about deep fried pickles. I am pleased to say they have a decent offering. Even after the cooking process they remained slightly crunchy and still very dill in flavor. The burger was juicy. The fries were average, a little on the salty side. I would come here again. Special props for being open after 5pm, which appears to be the closing time of everything in Langley on even the most beautiful of summer evenings.
Delicious food and great service. Best lemon drop and fried pickles I’ve ever had. Skyhop is also one of the last places to close in town.
Fantastic burger on a gluten free bun. Bun didn't even fall apart in dry tasteless pieces like most gf buns do.
The burgers, fish, fries and wings were all great, and the staff was super nice!
Awesome food & drink. Friendly staff. Glad we popped in.
Delicious food and no wait to be seated. I ordered the fish and chips and a buddy of mine ordered the classic burger with tots and they were both 10/10.
The only issue we had was that we arrived hungry and the food took a while to come out. There seemed to be two hosts while our waitress was trying to cover four tables that had just been seated all at once--felt odd. Overall, everyone was super nice and the food was awesome. We will be back but next time anticipate the wait for the food.
Great small town spot with local beers, good food, and beautiful interior. The owners are always around and helping bartend, host, serve, whatever is needed. The staff are kind and professional, the food is great quality, drinks use fresh squeezed juices (made in front of you), this is a wonderful place to have lunch, dinner, or just drinks and snacks. Also, lovely views of the town on days it's warm enough to sit out on their patio!
Great local Langley pub. Good service despite being understaffed. We'll be back
Great food, beer, Bartender
Kudos to the general manager for being sweet
Overall experience was very good. Good service. Excellent Cobb salad and one of the best in house made balsamic vinaigrettes I have ever tasted. The burgers were way too thin and over cooked. Maybe go to half pound and thicker.
found this place absolutely wonderful had the double bluff burger and fries serving trays could be a bit nicer but all and all great experience good beers and drinks made with fresh squeezed fruit right in front of you fried pickles were fantastic never had those before and hadn't seen a place near me that even offered them burgers looked like they came off a menu board instead of some slapped together burgers at other places
