Absolutely amazing in so many ways. Who makes bread pudding with biscuits???
Everything was delicious, so well balanced, so well prepared, you didn’t even think about salt and peppering anything!
And the service was outstanding, so accommodating. A good example - a biker group showed up. They were all seated together at the picnic table outside!
It was so good my husband wanted to come back the next day!

Great food and service. Would highly recommend this. Good home cooking. It is buffet style, salad, meats and vegetables. They bring you dessert after you meal. Your choice of several different cakes or pies. They have sweet tea, unsweetened tea, coffee and water. No sodas but the food is good. Fried chicken really good. The carrots were great. To many vegetables to mention. Give them a try.

We found this place thru Google maps. Michael the owner is friendly as well as the staff. I have a crazy bunch known as Slingshot Lovers. The whole staff made us feel welcome and joined right in with our craziness. It's off the main roads but we worth the detour. Southern buffet was worth the drive.

The ambience was sweet. It was an old house converted to a restaurant so there were many small rooms with a lot of charm. The food was very good and all you could eat. Three of us went and two of us enjoyed our experience. Our friend couldn't eat some of the choices and didn't like others. She should have stayed home or bring her own! The people were very nice and helpful.

Food is always great, love the unique choices for desserts. The creamed corn was so unexpectedly different in the best way as were the Brussels sprouts. Sometimes has odd pairings such as fajita chicken with no other Mexican style options to pair it with but the individual items are always great. I grew up in Landrum but have since moved away, now my wife and I often plan our day around lunch at the Drake House when we’re in town!

10/10 definitely recommend!!! Very good, home-cooked food in an old home turned into a buffet! The cubed steak was my favorite. (I had already started eating bwcauss it looked so good before I decided to take a pic)

Great find just out of town. Right now I think they're only doing a lunch buffet with daily change of main dish. Had the fried chicken and fish, both items along with the sides ( especially the Mac and cheese) were fantastic.

Fantastic southern food! We went for a Sunday lunch. Loved the quaint house and atmosphere. The staff were just as great. We had a wonderful experience and we will definitely return.
