I live around the corner from this bakery for 13 years and today was the first day I actually had time to go in. First thing manager Scott introduced himself as manager and fulfilled his wife dream to own a bakery. This place is fitting on our little town of Snyder. I chose a cookie a loaf of bread and 2 cupcakes. Scott game me the sugar cookie on the house as first time visit. Very good banana foster cupcake. Will be going back and maybe do a birthday cake in the future.

Lindsay had made our wedding cake and it was absolutely AMAZING!!! We had a very small/ private wedding reception due to the current circumstances and we were thrilled by the presentation of the cake in addition to the cake flavor itself. It was perfect and we are still getting compliments on how wonderful the cake was!!! The cake was almond with a custard and fresh strawberry filling. We will definitely be coming back and truly can't thank her enough for making such a beautiful masterpiece for us!

Ever since Haye's Fish market left this building, i never cared to go to any other business that would have taken over the vacant spot. I did pause for a second though, when Wheatberry Bake shop appeared. But still i never stop, I assumed it was just another gluten free/vegan bakery. It wasnt until I became more active on Yelp and read the positive reviews, along with teaming up with Evelyn (a yelper as well) to see and post our reviews on all the bakeshops near us. So my mission, if i choosed to accept was to finally go to Wheatberry. Once I opened up the door I was standing in front of a glass counter showcasing all the best looking desserts your heart desires. The smell of the place is amazing, you know your in a place that makes their desserts on site. Now on to my purchases, I will start with the peanut butter cookie. As you can see from the pic it is huge, it was good it really was. But I prefer more of a peanut butter taste and a little more chewy, but it still is a soft cookie but not as soft as i would have like it. I got 4 cupcakes, but will speak on the one I tried. The german chocolate, was good as well but again i felt the cupcake couldve been a little bit more moist. It wasnt dry to the point I felt my money was wasted. For me though, it couldve been a bit more moist. If it was, I wouldve ate the other 3 cupcakes i have waiting for my family to try. Next up is the Lemon bar, OOOOh boy the lemon hits your taste buds right out of the gates. I like the smooth texture of the lemon bar, it coats your tongue and the sweetness seems to intensify to calm the lemon flavor down some. This bar was a great balance of sweet verse bitter, I could only imagine eating just one though because its soooo rich. Last but not least is the pecan bar, imagine the best pecan pie you had and picture it condense. Thats what you get from this sticky, pecan pack bar. I had to eat mine with a fork because it was so sticky and if i was out in public. How many people would think i was weird for constantly licking my fingers? lol There were vegan products there, I did not try. I will go again at some point, but for now I am on to my next mission.

Everything we have had from Wheatberry has been beyond exceptional! The staff is friendly and welcoming and the baked goods are amazing. We recently had a “smash cake” done for first birthday photos, it was absolutely perfect! We did a Winnie the Pooh theme and the “hunny pot” cake came out perfectly and was so adorable (it also tasted AMAZING)!

I come here at least once a week, and their cupcakes and custom cake orders are my first choice for literally any celebration. (Or an average Tuesday.) The breads are great too--try the multigrain, raisin walnut, challah, or Russian pumpernickel. Staff is helpful and cheerful, and pricing is more than fair.

OMG! I cannot say enough good things about Maxine and the cupcakes I ordered a month ago! Maxine returned my inquiry call for cupcakes in a matter of hours and the turn-around time was great! BUT...the cupcakes...where do I begin?! These cupcakes were the most delicious cupcakes I have ever tasted! I'm not vegan and these were ordered for a friend, but I would choose the vegan cupcakes from Happy Cakes any day over any other cupcake. The frosting was to die for and the cupcakes were super moist! Everything I wanted and more! I cannot wait to try more flavors of the cupcakes soon. Thanks again, Maxine! �

So happy i randomly found this place while on a family walk today. Less happy once i realized im going to be spending a lot of $ here � We tried the cookies and a bought a cupcake. Both were delicious! Can't wait to come back for lunch with my babies this week.

Maxine has made us cakes for birthdays, Mother’s Day, work functions...they are always delicious and very reasonably priced. And no one can even tell they are vegan. But what I like best about Happy Cakes is the pure love and joy that comes from Maxine herself. She is a treasure!

I had a cake made for my son, for his 2nd birthday. It was so delicious, and beautifully done. The butter cream frosting was amazing! I highly recommend Happy Cakes for birthday cakes!

Amazing vegan cake! Guests were shocked after I told them it was vegan, they had no idea. I ordered the vanilla with chocolate frosting with raspberry filling. Thank you! Highly recommend.

I stopped in per the recommendation of one of the ladies at the Gilded Maple. I bought some cupcakes which were some of the best cupcakes I've ever tasted. Even my husband, who doesn't eat many sweets commented on how good they were. What a nice addition to the village. I will definitely be back.

Well I was right. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot with the cupcake I bought for my son to try... Good thing I bought two. I will definitely be coming back for his birthday cake. It was a wonderful friendly experience stopping in here... Like visiting a favorite Aunt and getting a treat to take home. Thank you for being so "sweet"...

Happy Cakes catered our wedding. Maxine made fabulous cupcakes for a cupcake tower, cake pops, and doughnuts for the next morning. The presentation was beautiful as well. Thank you for everything!!!
