My Mom has been raving about this place for a couple of months now so while out with her we decided to go and have lunch. We walked right in, sat down and was greeted by Aaliyah whom my Mom had seen at the location before at a previous visit. Aaliyah is kind, hospitable, personable and delivered excellent customer service. We chatted a few minutes, she took our orders and within 15 minutes or so our food was delivered to our table. She continued to check on us throughout our dining time...not too much or too little. She's great! For lunch my Mom had the small plate of chicken tenders, enchilada casserole cup, and black eyed peas with cornbread. I had the small plate of fried chicken wings, chicken and broccoli cheese casserole cup, greens, and cornbread. We thoroughly enjoyed both of our meals. The wings and greens were seasoned just right, the small cup casserole was delicious, and the small plate meal was enough to fill me up. The location is quaint and quiet and the jazz music added to the atmosphere and ambience of the cafe as well. This was my first but definitely won't be my last visit!!

Good was just ok. I don't think you get enough for the prices. Cornbread was ice cold like it came straight out of fridge, but that blueberry lemon cake is the bomb!!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome food. Shoot I forgot to take pictures.. I ordered smothered steak, mashed potatoes, greens and Black eye peas with cornbread. It was DELICIOUS!!! Baby (my hubby) ordered chicken fried chicken, mashed taters, corn, roll and Lemon pound cake. Child go by this place the food is GREAT. It was a little over $40.00 for the both of us but we'll work it. Our waitress was pleasant, made sure we we good, and gave us service with a real smile.

Last Sunday I was invited to Casserole Soul for a very good friends birthday which was my 1st visit. One friend suggested it reminded her of good home cooked soul food and I agreed, but in a Southern fashion! 😁 It’s not easy finding good Soul food that reminds me of the fresh organic foods I grew up on, but this place took me there! So glad I was invited and I will definitely recommend my friends & family!

I visit this place several times, want be going back. June 6 12:95 & I threw it in the trash can. Peas, yams, baked chicken. Chicken wasn't bad peas old & yams seem to be old, or warm up over & over, couldn't tell they were peas. When they first opened food was delicious, to all business don't sell anything to your customers that you wouldn't want served to you I hope they succeed in their business, I definitely want be going back. How you mess up peas & yams.

Nice staff. Food was good but or order was wrong multiple times. The waitress quickly got it corrected. I had the enchilada casserole which was okay but nothing to lose your mind over and my wife had oxtails with candied yams and Mac n cheese. Again nothing to go crazy over but tastted good. We will visit again to try other dishes on the menu.

The meal was amazing, I had a large order , and everything was there and the food was excellent ...not over seasoned, was a crowded day and all staff was pleasent and actually showed genuine care to all customers from my stand point...this is a sure stop for anyone traveling and have a taste for some real home cooked food , served on a professional level...prediction, restaurant of the year! Congrats to whomever the owner is , because they a class A restaurant...
