Delicious! We enjoyed the friendly service! They put on a great show and you get tons of food! We ordered the steak and chicken hibachi. The steak and chicken were cooked to juicy perfection. The vegetables were tender the yum yum sauce is almost drinkable. 😋 I also absolutely love the salad and the mushroom soup was amazing. I also had saki for the first time. I can see how that could be dangerous 😳 We will definitely come back to eat again! And I highly recommend coming here for the experience!

Not my favorite they charge a almost $3 upcharge to get what they called fried rice with our hibachi like isn't that part of the cost $24 for chicken plus upchatge the rice. OMG 3 adults and a 2 yr old $140 😳 2 beers and 1 soda 😳 still a bit much eggs were burnt so rice wasn't great but $12 up charge one Cali roll and seaweed salad.

Ideal place for a family celebration with teens. There's entertainment, laughs, and delicious food prepared right at the table. I had scallops and shrimp with egg yolk sauce...it was amazing!

The food is excellent! The show that they performed while cooking was very entertaining. I drove up from Columbus to take my son here for his birthday and the food was delicious, the service could have definitely been better but it wasn't the worst service that I have ever received. Unfortunately we let our waitress know that it was my son's birthday and thought that maybe they would sing a happy birthday song or something to make him feel special, they did not! But they did however sing happy birthday to another table who were sitting a few tables away. Were we a little disappointed? Yes. Would I still have a meal here again despite my son not being acknowledged on his special day? Yes. I absolutely cannot take away from them how delicious their food is!!!

The staff are incredibly friendly. The food was amazing. I had the steak and scallops lunch hibachi and they were super generous with the portions. Nothing was too salty. The show the chef put on was hilarious. Will definitely be back!

Eating here is always a pleasure, be it a date night or large gathering. Friendly staff, the chefs are a blast and there's no feeling of being rushed out of the door (I've noticed this at other places I've been to before). The portions are very generous and delicious.

The Chef and waitress were wonderful. Chef was very entertaining and fun, my son wanted his bday dinner here and loved teasing back and forth with him. However, the food quality has gone down hill, not as good as it used to be. Bland, and the yum yum sauce was flavorless and oily. Hibachi express is much better quality food for a fraction of the price. For the price, I feel we paid for good entertainment and that was it. Food was not worth the price.

I was just there tonight, my server was Rachel. Absolutely worst server I’ve ever had. She should be fired for the way she treated me. I’m a server myself and would never treat someone like that. I paid in cash and she just kept my change instead of bringing it back with my receipt. I had to hunt her down to get it because I really wanted my receipt and she didn’t even give me that, nor did she give me all of my change back. And when I asked her for it she made a huge deal about it like I was the one being rude asking for something that simple. Ruined my experience at this location.

Is there anything better than hibachi for breakfast, especially from Kanji? Nope. That was not a question. It is not only the best food in Lancaster, but possibly the best food period. Anywhere.

Visited today around 730. Food was excellent as always, but the waitress we were originally assigned to should not be serving food let alone be getting paid for doing anything around people. When she first came up to our table her eyes were barely open and she was slurring her words and speaking so incoherently that you couldn't understand a word she was saying. When she started taking our order she was nodding in and out the entire conversation and almost fell over onto my mother and the grill. We had to repeat our order to her 4 times until she was able to scribble it down. I then asked another waitress passing by, Jamelle, if she could get us another waitress to serve us because we were uncomfortable having her serve us. Jamelle was fantastic and did an excellent job. After she took over our table we then watched this waitress, who was obviously intoxicated on something, wait on another table, who we noticed eventually also asked for a different server. Food was great, our second waitress was amazing, but this employee definitely should be no where near hot food or customers in the condition that she served us in.

Was there last week, with my entire family and our food was great! The chef was hilarious and did awesome. And The server we had, Sam.. literally had the best personality and made it all that much better. She was great! Loved her!

Went to kanji Monday night to celebrate my husband's co workers bday. We've been to Kanji several times before, but our server Amy made it a whole new experience. She was so much fun and had such an upbeat personality. We all loved her so much we wanted her to sit down and eat with us. People like her and with her personality are a dime a dozen. Plus i should mention she's by far the best server I've ever encountered!

The best experience I've ever had at a Japanese steak house!!! The 5 of us, + 2 random individuals had an outstanding time! I've been to Kanji at least 7 times and this time was better than all those other times combined. Definitely would ask for the same server and food preparer again.

It would've been 5 stars, but the waitresses you have are extremely rude. My waitress decided to give herself a $13.00 tip on my card, which she didn't even deserve the tip I did give her of $3, let alone take 10 dollars more just because she wanted to. I called about it to tell them what happened and I'm still waiting to be reimbursed for it. This isn't the first time I've had a rude waitress there either. We never get drinks refilled because they never come back to check on us to give us them. Thank goodness we know how to strategically portion our drinks out.

This was my first time eating at Kanji. It was a very family friendly place. I was very pleased with the food. Very friendly, fun and outgoing chef. I will absolutely go back again. Loved it!!!

I've never been here before until a few weeks ago .I had went to the one in Heath but the food was really good our chef was very kind and friendly.. our waitresses we very prompt to getting refills. And I'm not sure if it's something that's done normally but it was my friend's birthday and they brought him a free pineapple dessert and sang to him. Overall I had a blast and am looking forward to coming back

Went there for dinner tonight! We had the best time ever! My son is 3 1/2 and they were fantastic with him! Our server and cook were amazing! Food was great! My son even had to give the server a hug and kiss before we left! Thank you for an awesome night!

Expecting a Mother's Day rush, we made a reservation. We were seated on time, the drinks were refilled quickly and the chef did a great job. Other than that, this (being about our 10th visit to this location) was the worst experience yet. There was NO Mother's Day rush to explain the 20 minutes from seating to getting drinks or to explain the 15 additional minutes before the (albeit hot) appetizer arrived. The soup had one slice of mushroom each, barely any green onions, and the salad wasn't even chopped. Our chef did a great job and our server caught on about 10 minutes before tip time. From now on, we'll make the trip out of town to another Hibachi restaurant. :/
