Wow what a gem- so happy to find a place where they know how to make a great cocktail & great food. Friendly & helpful staff, nice decor. Would definitely return! Recommend the strawberry-jalapeno margarita (not too sweet, not too spicy), the smoked Manhattan, the duck duck pierogi, & pecan crusted
We were super lucky to get a window seat and sit next to a couple who love Lancaster. We had a great conversation with them. Our favorite part was the mussels with chorizo in beer. SO DELICIOUS. Pictures don't do it justice. All we wanted to do was soak the baguette in that but we are gluten intoler
Delicious food. Considering how busy they were our food came out fast. Our server was great, very attentive. The best cheesecake I've ever had!

Ale House 1890 is an absolutely amazing location for a phenomenal drink and amazing food. I'd recommend it over and again.
We had the Asian Pork Shank and Mahi Mahi and both were good. The pork shank was the winner though. Sat at the bar and service was 100%.

Really enjoyed this establishment- nice menu, full bar with high end to moderate end selection along with some surprising hidden select barrels. Whether you’re local or traveling from out of town, anyone would recommend this place for all the good reasons.
