Review Alice's Diner - Lancaster

Prior to wandering the Countryside's of Lancaster, Pennsylvania we made our Breakfast stop here. Research early in the week revealed that they had Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese sandwiches... So, Guess What my choice was??? My sandwich was the "Infamous Jersey Sandwich", I had it in a Pretzel Roll with a slice of tomato and of course my favorite hotness, Jalapeno Peppers with SPK... The Pork Roll was 1 slice only, but what a slice!!! It was a very thick slice that puts most of the New Jersey establishment's to shame who usually give you their customary "3 Paper Thin Slices" that barely give you a taste of Pork Roll... Definitely a pleasant experience and I would recommend this place to other's to swing by if out her on vacation or a day trip!!! Kit had her usual, 2 Egg's scrambled, Hash Browns and this time Wheat Toast...

Visited from out of town for the first time. We were seated immediately and our food came blazing fast. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed all the sayings on the chalkboard walls. Definitely recommend for a quick sit down breakfast!

My sister, niece, daughter and I visit this place when ever we are in the area. The food is great and the staff is so warm and welcoming. What it lacks in size it more then makes up for in the great food. Worth a wait, oh yeah and very reasonable.

Not your typical run of the mill diner... This eatery has tons of personality and atmosphere, while exceeding the standards of service and quality of food. Great selection, very little wait time, priced reasonable, and overall a MEMORABLE meal break. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The staff at this place is incredible! They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a fantastic dining experience. The food is beyond delicious, with a wide variety of mouthwatering options to choose from. Not to mention, the service is extremely fast! Excellent service, Awesome waitress and waiter I will recommend to my friends and family. Three of us like our foods very much only the corn beef hash kind of salty for us can’t eat it by it’s has to eat with bread overall tasty.

My wife and I gave Alice's a try for breakfast today. The atmosphere is worth coming for alone. Most booths had riddles written behind them, so it made for a nice game to play while waiting on our food Service was great, and staff were nice and attentive Food was very good! Definitely worth a visit!

Nice typical Greek diner, fairly busy, pretty good service. Ordered the Oatmeal with raisins, bananas and brown sugar, was quite good, coffee was very good. Would likely be back possibly for lunch. Breakfast menu is quite extensive and I assume the lunch is as well. Give it a try🍳

Food was good. Nothing to write home about. Typical diner food. I always try chipped beef gravy at every diner I go to. Theirs was basic and did not appear homemade. The staff were nice and attentive. We all had breakfast. Overpriced I feel. (egg, toast, potatoes were around $7), which is steep considering what it is in my view.

Fun place. 1st time here. Got coffee order in before we sat.. Great service food quick. Had eggs home fries and turkey bacon. thing I didn't like, my home fries, they tasted literally like burnt paper. Will I go back? Yes for lunch.

Doesn't get much better when you want breakfast or lunch. They close at 2pm these days. Super menu with all the usually offerings plus a bunch of unique specials. Fantastic service in this '50 style Diner with booths & tables. Portions are huge experience! Plenty of off street parking.& coffee is included in the specials. Owner is on site to greet the guests. Just a very wonderful experience & the prices are very reasonable considering the size of the portions!

Great local breakfast spot. Avoid the big tourist spot and sneak in here. Food is consistently good. The service is always good. Food is made quick. Parking is easy. Wheelchair access is good.

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Alice's Diner on our last day in Lancaster. The staff was friendly, and the food and portion sizes were amazing. It will be one of our go to places next we visit Lancaster PA.

The food was giid. I ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy with home fries. While my friend has the Gyro Omelette along with Cream chopped beef over waffle. My food was good. I just felt the biscuits were very dense compared to what I make. The home fries were home fries nothing special. The Gyro Omlette I did try a bite and that was delicious. Now the cream chipped beef icer a waffle was a great idea according to my friend. He loved the combo. I tried it and it wasnt for me personally. But, I did try just the waffle and I will be back to sample that and many more items!. Our server was fantastic and always right on point. We had absolutely no issues with our waitress. However, there was another waitress that we could clearly hear complaining to the people seated next to us about how she didnt get tipped after a last sat in a booth for 2 hours and complained about the noise. But, that these patrons needed to make sure to tip her because she is out money after that. I am sorry that is very unprofessional on so many levels. I had to really crate my inner "Karen" from going off on her or saying something to the manager on duty. Yes, tips are appreciated. Yes. Tips are earned. Yes, tips is where you make your money as a waitress. Yes, you will have some patrons you simply do not get along with. But, as long as they are in that seat they are yours to take care of. You can bad mouth them at the end of the day when you are closed or in walk-in cooler. Just do not donit in front of patrons and especially loud enough that others can hear you. Overall, we will definitely be stopping in here more often. Just we will be selective as to who our server is after hearing this. Hope to have the same sweet lady we did today! *I forgot photos I was getting hangry lol
