My husband brought me a grandmas pie pizza and a regular cheese pie to have ready after I gave birth at the nearby birthing hospital and pizza was amazing!!! Even ate it cold the next day and had the same great flavor. We now travel about a half hour just to eat Joe’s pizza and it never disappoints. Perfect slices, doesn’t flop, great flavor.
What a great find! We needed to drive over an hour to pick up an automotive part near here and since it was time for dinner I googled restaurants near me. Other bars and restaurants didn't have any good salads on the menu and everything was fried which doesn't agree with me so I kept searching. Brooklyn Pizza popped up and I'm so glad it did. It smells heavenly from the moment you walk in. They have a full staff in the kitchen, pizza slices ready to heat, eat, and go, and lots of salad options and other Italian specialties. It's busy with dine in and takeout just like our fav. Italian restaurant at home. So yummy. Love the ranch dressing for the really good salad. They are very accommodating as I added chicken to the broccoli pizza and asked for romaine lettuce instead of the iceberg mix. Thank you Brooklyn Pizza team for great food and service. Wish I lived closer.
This is a pizzaria where you will enjoy dining in. The esthetics of this place are incredible. I am from Brooklyn, and i have never seen anything like it. All pictures, props, and newspapers on the walls and ceilings perfectly represent New York City and italian boroughs, the greatest city of the past. Pizza, ironically, is nothing like brooklyn Pizza now. It's much better. It tastes the true authentic Brooklyn pizza from the early 90s and 2000s. Not too greasy, not too dry. The owner Joe, a real New York Italian guy, a solid character who knows what he's doing. NYC is no good anymore. It's a dangerous swamp, but this place will give nostalgia. It's a reminder of what it used to be. Pizza in NY is very expensive and not authentic anymore. This place has affordable pizza with authenticity to it. To feel a piece of good Brooklyn, come to this place.
