Dave's Cosmic Subs

My sandwich was very small, probably half the size of those pictured. My girlfriend wanted hers with no cheese and that didn’t happen. The pickle didn’t seem to be pickled. The biggest issue was with the older bald man in the kitchen yelling at the younger female employee while we were waiting. It was extremely awkward. Bad all around experience. Also my first time so not great. I have to put one star to post this review. I would give 0 if possible

I've only ever had good experiences when coming to Dave's Cosmic Sub's. This location (Lakewood) doesn't sell French Fries but I'm not complaining. I came for a sandwich and that's what I got! On too of that they have a few tasty Vegetarian options to choose from. This puts them ahead of Subway and other sub-sandwhich competition. I always say that Dave's is better than most other places because they choose to season their food. All the sandwiches I've ever had have been seasoned and have a unique Davey flavor! Great place to come. They do large orders too, so if you are on a small film set and need to fill a decent sized order with tasty subs (Wayy better than Jimmy John's) then please come here. Your crew will thank you kindly!!

I placed an order for 2 large subs (The incredible Dave and the Tuna) and 2 cookies. The incredible Dave was large (essentially 2 regular subs) with loads of meat, but the Tuna was 1 regular sub and mostly bread. This was my first time ordering from Dave's and I'm hoping this was a mistake. I may give them another chance, but not for awhile. If you're going to order a large sub, don't order the Tuna. You will be disappointed.

I ordered a #28 hot. My husband picked it up. Not hot cheese wasn’t melted and missing items. I called and they said they would remake it. Then my husband goes to pick it up and they want to charge him. Girl never said that on the phone. I call them and owner asks what I want and tell him the problem all over again. Mind you it’s almost 3:30 and I haven’t eaten lunch yet. My husband got frustrated that they were giving us such a headache. Good customer service is making an order right and if you don’t, remake it! And don’t try to charge the person. Shame on the owner!!!! I will never return!
