The best Filipino food I have had outside of Hawaii. Will recommend to everyone looking for authentic Filipino food! Roger, the server is a real down to earth, Big Island local, who knows how to make the grinds that will keep everyone happy and coming back! Mahalo!
Just want to say that this is the place to eat if you know about authentic Filipino food!!#1 in my book ( stomach)!!!!
I moved to Gig Harbor from Northern California in July of 2016 with a strong appreciation for family owned restaurants, I guess I could say I’m a foodie when it comes to foods from different cultures
Kuya Rodger and his staff are beyond friendly and the portions are exactly what you would get if you sat down for dinner in a Pinoy household.
Masarap!!
If you’re looking for some good Filipino food- this is the place to go!
They had various dishes and couldn’t decide which to get.
The gentlemen serving us was a little rude but did give us generous portions.
I’d recommend you try some of their food if you’ve never tried Filipino food :)
Friendly service. At 3pm the place was still doing some decent lunch business. Many of the patrons were clearly frequent customers.
If you've never had Filipino food, you might be worried by the cafeteria-style presentation, but don't be fooled! The food is good and fresh. I had beef mechado, cooked much like a beef stew. The beef was very tender and the sauce was light, going well with the pancit noodle. Some rice would have been very tasty, absorbing the sauce, but I'm on a diet 😄! Well, right after I eat these sweets...
Sarap! Busog and satisfied pinoy food cravings! Glad the wifey and I decided to drive here today. All time Pinoy favorite dishes are available (sinigang, adobo, mechado, pakbet (pak-but to some Ilocanos 😄) atbp. and there is a small corner with pinoy snacks etc. Place is clean! We love the bright colors and bus station/canteen set up that reminds me of “Double Happiness bus stop” back at home! Food are freshly made! Definitely one of our stops when we go to Lakewood!
Great experience. My first time for Filipino food. Pancit was delicious, lumpia was delicious, pork adobo was delicious. I will be back to try different dishes soon.
The Pinoy food is very good here, would recommend to anyone. Roger and his family are gracious, always welcoming. Filipino's are "The smiling culture"... because the food is so delicious! If I die and reincarnation is possible..... I would want to come back as Filipino.
My wife loves the chicken adobo! Their lumpia (pictured) is my favorite - I could eat it every day! They're always friendly when I go in and are willing to take pre-orders over the phone.
